Bit gutted he didn't kick on into the player he could have been, he has the attributes, just lacks that all important consistency and arguably confidence.
Good luck CoD
Most importantly he lacks bottle.
Plus his return of 10 goals in 176 appearances in 6 seasons is woeful for what should be an attack minded player.

None of the games are red button by the looks of it

Gould suggested that ST sales were “on track” on Saturday and so I’d be surprised if we didn’t exceed 10,000 STs again for next season….
I think he’s trying to spin it. The number of seats available today would suggest we are struggling to shift them. As I type there are currently 3,359 seats available in the Dolman - what’s the capacity in there?

Me (Adult) and two others (u19s) have also moved from Dolman Central to South Stand (S24) simply because it is less painful financially.
Looking at the latest seat availability there are a large number of Dolman Central STHs who have either not renewed or have moved to less costly seats (I’m loathed to say ‘cheaper’)!
I would be surprised if we get past 10000 STHs next season.

What do you think? Outside the ground it feels like Bristol City, inside the ground nah feels odd. The atmosphere, the shapes, the structures, the brightness of the lights, not an enjoyable place to be in the main imo
I’ve never seen another stadium with so much lighting in the stands. The circular lights above each of the exits in the Lansdown are just eye watering - yet nothing has ever been done to sort them out. Meh we’re Bristol City & we’re happy to tread water. Strange club.

Apologies if this has already been asked & answered however I have been wondering what the score is with Jimmy Mann & / or his family not part taking in the the Ashton 8 celebrations? Is there a specific reason for this?
It seems to have been brushed over somewhat by the club but there is one pic of the Ashton 6 plus I assume Chris Garland’s son in the changing room holding their shirts up whilst the Mann shirt is just left on the peg. All a bit sad really.

What are all of the words for the 8 men had a dream song?

Really poor from Jon Lansdown this week to be frank & Nige has rightly called him out on it. Nige seems to be a man of great integrity & I think he will feel personally let down by what JL has said or atleast with the way he has said it.
Maybe the most worrying thing is the obvious delusion from the Lansdowns that this squad should be performing better. It’s like they still have no real idea of the utter ‘football’ mess we were left in due to their previous negligence & their failed trust in Ashton & their Golden Boy LJ.

Strange goings on again here….
Why would anyone agree to a pre-scheduled appointment on the day of a game? Bizarre timing at the very least.
Hopefully the big man is OK. Get well soon Nige.

Anyone experienced coach 1 , I'm on it for Saturday, any tips, I understand members have they're same seats for every away game,
Simple. Just wait for everyone else to get on & then take the one remaining spare seat.

Semenyo will play for England - mark my words. Reminds of Rooney back in the day. Utter carnage every time he runs at defences.

Utter shambles after the game today. It was almost as if they wanted the two sets of fans to meet face to face for a ruck. I have never seen anything like it. Whoever was leading that operation this afternoon is in the wrong job.
Why is it that they don’t just keep the Away fans in the ground for 15 mins at the end like they used to?? Not exactly rocket science is it - although a sensible decision like that probably means less overtime.

The conclusion I would draw from NP’s original wording & what has happened since is that Bentley is out of favour for something that has gone on behind the scenes. You just don’t drop your captain for this length of time unless there is something seriously wrong.

That's fair enough, I've since been told that James knocked it out then pointed to Semenyo down needing treatment.
The only thing I can think of is that after Semenyo limps off & Wells comes on (and the time taken to do that!), Adomah simply forgot that he was meant to throw it back. Sounds like I'm making excuses for the guy but doesn't sound like something Adomah would do tbh.
Nah - I was sat right near Albert & he knew exactly what he was doing. He was told to throw it back to us & chose not to.

Such a weird day with no match this avvo made all the more surreal seeing FB posts from Gas mates giving it the big one in The Heineken lounge prior to the rugby.
Today is one of the first times I have genuinely felt like we have lost a significant part of our club because of Mr Lansdown’s Bristol Sport franchising.
It would be just about bearable if our football team had actually got anywhere near the dream we were originally sold when the rugby club came on board. All in all I feel let down by how things have unfolded & the way SL put so much faith in Ashton.

Hi All
Just wondering how u18s will be expected to show that they are u18 on entering the ground without a COVID pass today. Particularly if they are say 16/ 17 but look over 18 etc…
Thanks

He seems like the sort of guy who loves the kudos of being a pro footballer without actually having the mentality & desire to be a pro footballer.
He’s grown up being told & thinking he is the next big thing out of Chelsea academy & his head just can’t compute that he actually isn’t that good even at Championship level.
He seems like a nice guy to be fair but then again most is on here would be lovely guys aswell if we were being given £1m per year to do absolutely nothing.

Ffs some of our players are embarrassing.

It must be the game plan to be as shite as we can in the first half to lull them into a false sense of security.
-
Based on the first 15 mins I can only see this ending one way.

The advertising boardings were much better tonight - obviously the brightness was turned down compared to Saturday.
However those spotlights shining straight into our faces / eyes in the Dolman Stand are an absolute bad joke. Whoever thought that was a sensible solution to a problem that didn’t actually exist to start with must be plain stupid. It was literally a struggle to see the pitch through the glare & I left the stadium with a headache - looks like I will either have to move stands or give night games a miss going forward. What is it with our club trying to fully light the stands when we all know the atmosphere would be so much better if the stands were darker?
-
We got everything we deserved if the second half tactic was genuinely ‘to shut up shop’ against 10 men.
Absolutely pathetic, spineless & desireless leadership.

Just keep playing our own game and we can win this
Tbh I’d rather we played someone else’s game - we would have more chance. Getting outplayed by 10 men ffs.

I can see Rovers being interested but would be surprised if they could agree financial terms.
