On reflection I believe or rather hope the Board already have tapped up a new coach, because for the life of me I don't understand why they have sacked him to-day, not after the last few results I don't.

If they have not got someone already lined up, it will confirm that the problems with this club is in the Boardroom and not on the pitch.

You can bet, whoever the next manager is will be a lap dog to the board and Lansdown.

 

It's no secret that SL doesn't get on with SoD... this is his doing imho.

 

I have no faith in this board or SL anymore... in fact I've always doubted their footballing knowledge...not their money.

 

I feel sorry for the next manager having to work with this lot...

 

I hope the fans realise it's the board killing this Club and not the managers.

Not saying I want him as manager, but a couple of weeks ago on talk sport, Colin was asked if he would take the job and said yes. Also said the fans wouldn't want him. 

 

Maybe they've lined him up, or Di Canio. 

 

Or maybe, give the under 18's boss a go. Ex Malaga manager I think?

I am furious. Same old City. No learnings from the past whatsoever. And to do it when we FINALLY look like we're beginning turning the corner on the pitch.

Me too, just shows how this board is devoid of a footballing understanding, all the talk about patience etc and the improvement on the pitch, and now this...CRAZY!!

You kick up a fuss about bullies when people tell you they don't like your opinion on the board.

You are welcome to your opinion on SOD.

You treat people who dislike SOD exactly the same way you complain about being treated when you slag off the board.

If you can't see the hypocrisy in that, then there's no hope for you.

You really are irritating, since when do you call the shots on here? Tim makes some valid points, and obviously is passionate about City, let's not stick the boot into real fans eh! Jordan? 

Both ourselves and Tranmere are very poor teams. But I think we have a bit more quality than they do, we can definitely come away with something!

2nd rate stadium that doesn't do anyone any favours.

No it's not, and certainly better than a concrete soulless bowl of a so called stadium. And Ashton Gate is the home of Bristol City, and for me as a kid it was a magical place to go, and still is, to retain an improved AG will be fantastic.  

I think you've totally missed the point, we may need to sell if we want to improve the overall strength of the club, not sure why so many of you fail to understand that.

Well just as long as any fee we get for him is put towards strengthening the squad then fair enough, but remember Adomah?

However, unless a silly offer comes in for him, I don't think we well sell, with him we can make top 6.

Basically the 'journo' lied then as the headline stated the SoD would sell JET January, however that was not the case, it was only that he 'might' have to sell.

Either way SoD has dropped a clanger, unless it was a deliberate ploy to rattle up some buyers, it was totally unprofessional of him to speculate that a player might be bought in the window. However something is fishy about the whole thing, I have the impression that JET doesn't want to be here, and he has greater ambitions,

BUT he IS  a luxury player and  in a team with a better standard of expectations regarding work rate etc he will struggle, well that has been proved anyway!! 

Naa he's RUBBISH, and the sooner the football world get the message the better.

TOO HOT TO HANDLE

This wasn't an exercise in rounding up excited children, these were raids on people that have (allegedly) committed violent crimes.

People are not being arrested for running on a football pitch!! Hence why the police are only seeking 40 odd people and not 500-1000 pitch invaders!!

I agree with the publicity factor, unnecessary and scare mongering.

Scare mongering? Yep well I hope so perhaps idiots like those that have been arrested will think twice in the future.
