  1. A good point.

I was really satisfied with our first half performance: we were lively  and their defenders were forced to committ several fouls to stop Kodjia & co. Agard's goal changed the match, because Hull's pressure increased rapidly; in the second half, we were too passive and they gradually became dominant, so despite our good defensive work, it was quite inevitable to concede a gol....but at the end, a draw is a fine result.

My MOM is Korey Smith, but the defensive trio and Agard played well too; Bennett saved a goal but didn't impress me too much, Pack had some problems in the 2nd half, but the worst player of our team, IMO, was Freeman, which looked a bit confused and suffered Hull's players physical strenght more than I expected.

I read something about the possibility of a new midfielder coming in on loan...and after watching today's match, I really think we need an influential player in that zone of the pitch.

    Anyway...sempre FORZA ROBINS!!!  :city:

  2. Thanks to Gazzetta Tv, I was able to watch the match.

I'm satisfied with the team's performance, but not very happy about the result: it was a very open game, and both teams could have scored and won it, but I guess our Robins were more brilliant and dangerous than the Bluebirds, and deserved something more. The lads should improve in the attacking zone,as soon as possible...because creating so many chances and not winning is becoming a huge problem.

Anyway...the players I liked the most yesterday are Pack (he was everywhere, and moved the ball well), Ayling (solid in defense, and useful in the midfield too) and Kodja (absolute class, unlucky not to have scored).

  3. Three vital points for us: COYR!!! :)

Very good performance in the first half (Freeman,Wilbs & Fielding above all, IMO), whereas in the second one, Forest were the better side (I think Flint was our best player on the pitch).

On the basis of tonight's match, the two things that Cotts and the team should improve, IMO, are:

    1) maintaining concentration (ex: wrong back-pass by Williams) and avoiding silly errors (ex: Ayling trying to dribble 2 players, instead of doing a simple pass);

    2) the fitness level of some players (ex: Freeman, Bryan), and/or the time of some substitutions (ex: Wilbraham, when he's tired).

Un saluto dall'Italia e...sempre forza Robins! :city:

  4. I think that we lost the match on the midfield zone: Fredericks joined the team only two days ago, so he was'nt able to connect properly with his team-mates on the pitch, whereas Burns was very good in attack, but lacked something in the defensive work; Freeman was left alone too many times, Pack and Smith didn't play well.

Wilbraham and Kodjia had a negative performance too, but the main cause, IMO, was the amount of passing errors by the midfielders.

I found the defensive trio quite good; unfortunately, I cant' say the same about Frankie.

To me, the main aspect the team should increase is the attacking play.

We still need to sign a few players but we needed that before today and we would have needed that if we had won 4-0 today. Wake-up call to the championship today. Always thought it would be a tough game and those in cuckoo land need to get there feet in the ground. Next game Luton!

Experienced players would be the best option, IMO, especially for the midfield.

  5. We deserved more...but when your team plays with pride, passion and quality...there's no space for regrets, but only for claps.

An oustanding performance in the first half, and a good one in the second period.

Matt Smith was a real giant, but unfortunately he didn't find the net; Freeman, in the first half was classy, JET wasn't too inspired but was very useful from a tactical point of view, Korey Smith was everywhere, and the defense looked always solid.

    Well done, Robins!
