Hi can you help please. I am out of country and not able to renew season ticket until 16th April. Will I lose my seat? Very limited Wifi here. Thank you.

Just thought I’d gauge people’s opinion on why it is that when we seemingly get a managerial appointment that is endorsed by a reasonable portion of the fan base, the result ends up being totally underwhelming?
I was very much excited by NP’s appointment, to the point where I bought my first ST since SC’s final season. For me, despite the financial constraints, injuries and rumours of total mismanagement behind the scenes, I expected quite a bit more from Nigel Pearson. I expected more i.e. a definitive style of play (we seem to be slowly getting this), but also a resolute mentality that we would be hard to beat and always claw our way back into a game (which we aren’t and don’t). I’m not saying I thought we’d be play off contenders, but to be languishing in the lower half has me feeling very… meh
I was excited when we appointed Coppell and that went totally tits up. I was excited, perhaps less so, by SOD and that was something of a disaster. I didn’t really know what to make of SC, who turned out to be excellent in league one, and (like many I suspect) I had a somewhat marmite view of LJ. The less said about the astonishing ineptitude of appointing DH the better.
So why is it that when we get “the fans choice” (or at least my preferred choice ) things go to pot? Financial mismanagement? Fallings out with the board or players? Honestly it has me baffled. Maybe I am the curse somehow?!
I desperately want NP to succeed but at the moment I just can’t see it. I want to be proven wrong!
My thoughts as well. If we aren't in the top half and maybe pushing for the playoffs next season after the next transfer window I think he should go. I am fed up with this season and want it to end asap. Can't remember feeling so angry in my 50 years of support, but there must of been seasons just as bad tbh tho. Don't think I can put up with another bad one next season. Rant over.

I had a season ticket for 29 years until 2020, and yes it does make me miserable that we have been so crap especially at home, so yes in the main I have stopped watching us at home, so far I have seen us win twice and throw away points 6 times and for all the positivity as far as performances there has been no change in the way we throw games away constantly. I admire your optimism but when we lose our promising players in the summer as we will probably do then you like me who has been watching city for well over 55 years will suddenly see that it just goes on and on waiting for the fleeting success that is being a city supporter.
Agree with you Pill. Really fed up with them. It would be nice to have a win more often and especially with no goals against. Like you been watching on and off for 50 odd years. Expecting better next season top half pushing for playoffs at least for me if not Pearson should go. Understand we are going through a transitional period but not good enough for me.

So young RIP Ron.

Ffs Nige sort them out. 3 goals conceded after going in front again. Fear for us against Mboro. Good job we are where we are. Embarrassing!

Well done Antoine fully deserved. Keep it up please

Embarrassing. Appreciate we are playing a top side in this division. But 6 (so far) really? Come on City knock another one in FGS.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game today best performance of the season imo. Shame there weren't more there to enjoy it.Think it put a mil or more on a few heads today as well Onwards and upwards. Reds!

Thought we may of got something from today on present form tbh. Not to be unfortunately. Thought some of our passing and crossing was abysmal. Have we not got someone to put a decent ball into the box more often. Well done to the fans for making the effort, safe journey home.

Sorry didn't work for me I'm afraid. Just a load of senior management waffle.

The are definitely part of the problem. All of them routinely losing possession. Wells hit a row z when clean through last week. Weimann in this game. Martin anonymous in most of the past 8 games...
Weimann chasing shadows Wells running around like a headless chicken and Martin gone missing. Terrible.

Had to happen didn't it.

Still not convinced about Bakinson. Too laboured for me. Not a championship player atm.

Their next manager will be the cheapest option based on recent form, so don't expect them to pay for either the likes of Hollowhead or Cotts or any other experienced manager for that matter. My money is going on the caretaker being made a permanent appointment.
Or Skiverton.
