If you have a spare 20 minutes this gives an interesting rationale behind Bournemouth not increasing their capacity. If you haven't got a spare 20 minutes the rationale is that investment in training infrastructure and the team itself is more cost effective than any income generated from increased capacity. Which is pretty much the point you were making.

Richard Keogh, the face of Blackpool, who'd have thunk it?

Personally I have no feelings towards Manchester or what Manchester choose to wear. ?

Yes, gun-metal grey has a greenish tinge although some say it is blue, to me that looks greenish when the blue tinge is mixed with grey. Here is an American definition which spells grey wrong and means absolutely nothing to me....

The "assists" metric is an interesting one isn't it? How many times did Massengo assist the assister? Maybe @Davefevs has the data? I remember a run from his own half at QPR where he crossed to Weimann in the six yard box who did well to set up Martin to score. Having said that I also remember a pass to the opposition at home from which they scored. But as you point out he is only just 21.

Those local papers are virtually unreadable on a mobile phone with adverts popping up all over the shop. Can someone tell me the conclusion reached by the Wiltshire Times? Is it a wind up?

Martin channelling his inner Tomlin there. -
Was the last keeper we had in the building of that ilk Frankie Fielding? - height that is, not so much belly.

Four Bristol Rovers fans, a Derby County fan and a Bristol City fan .... walk into a bar .... not really, I wish it was a joke but the BBC are reporting six banning orders under a banner headline and with a photo of Ashton Gate - is this a case of one team in Bristol or media bias or both? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-61822067

A Derby supporting colleague of mine says that they have a total of 5 (FIVE) first team players currently under contract.

A bit of digging and I found this on the Bristol Sport website https://www.bristolbearsrugby.com/news/xledger-extends-partnership-with-bristol-sport-for-third-year-on-the-trot/ They've been sponsoring the basketball "Top 5 Plays" for a while now (whatever that is), but their main interest seems to be the rugby. And then looking a bit further, they have been official South Stand sponsors since January 2020 https://www.bristol-sport.co.uk/news/ashton-gate-stadium-secures-south-stand-sponsorship/

It is interesting isn't it? A search of the "News" section of bcfc.co.uk returns no results and the only reference is as an "Elite Partner" on the "Partners" page. Usually there is a bit of a fanfare about sponsorship or was that just a Mark Ashton thing? Pretty much spot on https://xledger.com/uk/
