Hey Ben, you're local to Luton aren't you? Will you be at the game? Andi Weimann is my favourite current player, so anything I say will be biased, and you don't like that do you?

A "spectaculary short" 800 word report from @Olé, thanks. -

I'm here, I'm there, at points during the game I was everywhere.

Reminds me so much of Gerry Francis, we used to play the game of "guess which side the interviewer is standing".

I can't believe those stats from the Sunday people paper
CiderJar replied to Never to the dark side's topic in Football Chat
This was actually quite funny, at one point in the second half they had a throw in. The ball went out level with our penalty area, but they decided to take it nearer halfway. Two passes later it was back with their goalkeeper. Surely when going for an equaliser this is taking possession based football to a strange extreme? -
Isn't it the irrelevance that adds the humour? Talking of irrelevance can someone remind the young singing section that we are now nearly 40 years on from 1982 and we need to stop singing "30 years on"; "40 years on" is a more than acceptable replacement.

Unique mascot and pitch invasion for only losing 3-1, some things never change

I feel for Paul Cook but what pleases me is that Ipswich fans seem to have got the message about Mark Ashton. See some of the responses to James Norwood's tweet....

... but do you pay any attention to the Scottish Championship? ..

I'm wondering how relevant the Bristol Post think that this is to the case? Maybe brown suits and polo-necks are non-aggressive? Maybe anyone sporting glasses and a moustache could never be a vicious evil little thug?

Sure, but the pleasure beach was open after all (I was there, stayed to the end because I'm ...stupid).

I recently sold a load of Shoot and Scoop comics, people will spend £2 or £3 each in the right condition. I sold around 40 for £100. Great stuff although my sister used to read "Striker" before me and tell me the plot, an early spoiler she was (not you @Chessels Chick another sister).

Barton really is a piece of work isn't he? Quite happy to throw his own players under the bus. "I'm a man and that is childish behaviour", said the 39 year old 'man'. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-rovers-boss-joey-barton-6261467?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=exchange

Looking at this, instead of "La la la la oooh" maybe we should sing "Tomas Kalas oooh" ... he doesn't have a song after all and RedRobbo would absolutely love it.
