By the way, Preston were always on to a loser when the brought on Kilkenny!

Sheff Utd losing now..
Ok, I can now count Sheff Utd out,. Seems that I am dreaming and will wake up tomorrow and SOD is in charge and we are on 33 points, clinging onto the hope that we can stay in league one.
This season just gets better and better.
-
Not to us 19 points behind with 12 games to go after tonight.
Being a City fan I look at all the possibilities. My optimistic side says we will be fine. My realistic side looks at the size of our squad coming to the run in of the end of the season. Looking at getting at least automatic promotion, so 1st or 2nd, depending on Mk dons, Preston. Forget Swindle, they have bottled it. So, looking at the size of the Sheff Utd squad they could keep pushing until the end of the season and there is always one team that suddenly starts pushing up the table??
Just saying like.

I'm also keeping an eye on Sheff Utd, they could still be a threat!

Chesterfield have had only 29% possession.

Is the match on any station other than player. Have tried BBC Bristol and BBC Somerset and radio humberside, all to no avail.

get in there. Cheating ***** get what they deserve, nowt.

Was it Lee Tomlin that was sent of when Peterborough played us at Ashton Gate????
They were up to tricks in that game but came unstuck if my memory serves me correctley.
-
Thank heavens for the 2 goals, would be changed to one up front I suppose
-
Cotterill did say our best form of defense is attack!!!
-
A win will be richly deserved after they kicked us of the pitch at the last away match with them. Cunningham was out for ages and we missed him.
If I remember correctly they had a player sent off against us at one of the last home matches. Player begins with P I will keep thinking.

Right thats it. If I hear anybody use the words "transition" or "patience" again, im launching my rockets. And I have a lot of them you know.
patience and transition........i'll get me coat....
-
Would you say that expecting to be at least slightly competitive in a league in which we have one of the biggest budgets is looking for a miracle? This is no transition period - we have a squad of players who are utter garbage and produce nothing but week after week of dross performances.
Yes I would say that a club with our budget should be competitive, but just because you have a budget does not mean you will be. Any team that has had the results that we have had must be in 'transition' as if this is the finished article then yes we are doomed.
To transform a club it takes weeks, months even years, and during that transition there will be low points.
I will support the club through thick and thin and not just when we have a wembley moment (which is a sticking point for me as I detest the 'glory'; hunters who show up for the 'special' games.
To say the squad are garbage is strange as there are players who have put a shift in and have entertained, so to make a sweeping statement like that is quite odd.
Oh, perhaps we could just increase the budget and miracuosly buy all of the Man City sqaud, job done??

Did anyone see the fight in the ateyo stand last saturday??

Whilst fustrating it does take time to transform a side and it is not a quick fix. One thing I feel is that we cannot keeep looking for the 'miracle' as in a new manager etc etc.
My observations is that we know what fraialties we have and the manager is well aware of them.
All we can do is support him during this transition and give it time. How it ends nobody knows but listening to Cotts at least he is trying adf not just droning and sucking in air.
There are players at the club who regularly put in a shift for the club and in my opinion it is too early to make a judgement on any new siginings.

My prediction is still possible.
-
My bones tell me that the second half will see us run away with this game.
Our freshness against their tiredness will be the difference.
Reid and Burns on oin second half, and Burns to score.

My assumption in regards to the LJ appointment is that perhaps the board wanted to keep Pemberton at the club, and many other managers would have wanted to bring their own backroom staff in, wheras LJ's appointment means we also keep Pemberton!!!
