Anyone who understands football knew we were in a spot of bother before we even kicked a ball.
But the happy clappers liked to act all sanctimonious and abruptly dismiss any views that differed from their own. All downhill since we announced the retained list.
-
But everyone said to keep the faith in the summer? Everything will be fine...

Find the thread on their forum titled 'A New Beginning', in reference to the rumoured consortium, quite funny. No, it's more a case of 'same old, same old' unfortunately.
Or will Noel Edmonds save them now he's lost the Deal or No Deal gig?

It makes me laugh (ironically) at the arrogance of some of our fans at the end of last season who were very vocal that the starting 11 we had are a mid to top half side in the Championship.
I genuinely think we'd have had a chance if we had been able to maintain the squad we had last year. Instead we now have a worse squad and are suffering from a lack of confidence linked to that. The people hoping for a top half finish were hoping we'd build on top of the squad we had, not weaken it.

At least Dopey Darrell and co gave cause to raise a slight smile today.

He contradicted himself once maybe twice, talked sense then drivel and a bit of sense.. about in that order. Most times i find that bloke alright. Tonight he was all over the place.
Fact is he was allowed to go on and on. Rad Briz at its best of course.
I only caught the last few minutes but what he was saying seemed completely sensible to me.

All bar the goalie were here last year at the end.
Not entirely sure it is the squad as such, although better players help, or even the system. Its a balance, but seems we are to ambitious, and far to open to the break. Confidence also comes in to it, and today must help that.
The problem isn't with the players we have, I think we have a very talented squad, even at this level. It's unfair on them how mismanaged our dealings off the pitch have been. We should have strengthened by now, instead we're weaker. Hopefully we can remedy that quickly, starting with Gray.

he's full of rubbish, not sure I could agree with any point he has made. and he made numerous points numerous times.
What, the one saying we need 3/4 signings and that a point tonight doesn't change that? How is that wrong? He praised the players we do have out there, just spoke about our poor pre-season. I share exactly the same thoughts.

Get him off... talks drivel
Guy on Radio Bristol? He's spot on.

So happy for the group we have on the pitch. Credit to their work ethic, that point.
Now the mismanagement off the pitch must be dealt with. Improve the squad.

Got 1 back. Agard.
Brilliant. Only -5 GD now.
-
Adapt or die.
3-5-2 was never going to work in the Championship
I think it can. It's just all the momentum we had was completely eradicated after an inexcusable summer transfer window. The happy clappers refused to acknowledge it, but it was there for all to see.

Punishment for the summer we've had. As I've said before.
Middlesbrough next.
-
We've been on top and caught on the break.
What's your point?
We've lost our first three games and are now losing our fourth.
-
**** me. People saying not to panic all summer, look at what's happening.

We'll lose to Luton, as let's face it we always do in the League Cup, and this forum will go into complete meltdown. In all honesty I don't think losing that game would be the worst outcome, could do without the extra games at the moment with the thin state of the squad.
Hope SC doesn't do what the last SC did, if that situation occurs.
-
Give it time, usually 10-12 games show how things will pan out.
Hopefully. We just have a lot of making up to do after this summer transfer window. Changes need to be made quickly.
-
and what exactly is that going to entail?.
Quite obviously poor results, unless we bring in some quality.
-
Unless something drastically changes, we're now going to see the full effects of a very poor summer window.
-
I don't know how they can seriously think they have any chance of winning the appeal.
-
Come on, this couldn't be more funny - http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/4006/sos-noel-edmonds
Nick Higgs will need to make an appearance on Deal or No Deal soon.

Can we now have a two day limit for further comment on Rovers and get back to focussing on our own club and what real football is all about. Silence about Rovers could be as deafening as the million comments made over the past 14 months!
There's nothing to talk about.

Because the squad has also been affected by losing key players that were part of the team spirit and the completely demoralising summer. It was so obviously going to happen.
