BBC Radio Derby (they do Burton commentaries) summarised it as:-
- City best of first half of first half
- Burton best of second half of first half
Er. Not much more than that.

It's because all those teams are shocking at the moment
But most are playing teams that are not (except for us)

Scrappy 1-0 win for city today which means more of LJ and football reminiscent of the clip below
That genuinely made me laugh out loud. The flapping goalkeepers being perticulalry funny.
Good for lifting the gloom on here!

His record here is actually rather good. Despite the results since Cardiff away.
This.
I'm as disappointed as anyone for throwing away the lead. But take a step back from it all and this is a decent point.
Totally.
In the pub beforehand i was saying to Derby fans that i hoped we keep it to single figures.

Can't keep blaming it on the Ref, the substitutions were the problem today, surely two strikers who are not injured can play for 90 minutes, no need to take off Tammy and Taylor, they were causing problems to Derby's defence, As soon as he changed we were on the back foot. Bad decisions again by our great coach!
I think most Coaches / Managers would have taken the strikers off.
Completely bossed the first half and looked fantastic.
Clearly attacking is our fortė and defending isn't.

And boy do they still go on about it! But then again, so wuld we if roles were reversed.
Having lived in Derby for nearly 30 years I'm getting pretty tired of our record against them and having to put up with the mickey taking at work / pub after yeat anothter defeat to them. I really really hope that we can get the occasional win against them (just for personal reasons) and this season we need it more than usual.
Can we declare?

I have written about other more celebrated times for Derby before such as the Clough/Taylor era including their 1971/2 title as well as the McKay title year of 1974/5

Roadrunner, what have you done? I was over the moon when I read finbarr's post but sick as a parrot after reading yours! Why remind me that we could get zero points from the 4 matches after today? I need every bit of happiness I can get watching City, so I'm going to enjoy today's 6-0 win and forget about the rest of February
Best get down the bookies for that double hat-trick then. Isn't that about 500-1?

They didn't do 6 (SIX) - it would have to be 7 (SEVEN) Flint 90+4' (backside)
For some reason I get great satisfaction seeing a score confirmed in (brackets).

Sure their legs would be suffering at their age now?
Reminds me of:-
Bobby Charlton was asked how he thought the England team of ’66 would have fared against Iceland. ” I think we’d have won 1-0 ” he replied. “Only 1-0?” Said the reporter. “Yes,” said Bobby. “Most of us are in our 70’s now!”
