  1. That doesn't make sense? How can we be in the relegation zone and have 6 teams concede less per game and only have 4 teams score more per game?

Doesn't add up as surely those teams who concede more can't all score more per game, You see my point?

They may loose by bigger margins, but win by smaller margins

  2. I don't hate Baldock I just think he is very very average.

How is being the 7th top scorer, and scoring 1 goal in every 3 games in league one average??

Scored goals for fun for west ham didn't he....o no big sam quickly dropped him and sold him, surprise surprise.

No club would sign him? What like Steve Davies who went to Blackpool?

    Taxi.

He scored 1 every 4 games for West Ham, West Ham also quickly shipped out Maynard.

Steve Davies was a proven Championship striker, Baldock isn't as he's only played a handful of games for West Ham, but did do well with us there for 1 season.

Despite Maynard gobbing off Bristolians he is 5 times the player of Baldock.

Shipped out of West Ham and Cardiff really quick, scored less goals at West Ham than Baldock......

  3. Yet no champ clubs in for him. says it all.

A true league 1 footballer....wonder how many other clubs in this league spent that kind of money on average league 1 players.

    West Ham signed him......

Charlton were in for him when we signed him too.

No club would sign him 6 months after us, same as when we got relegated, they would want to see how he got on in this league. So it's only now, or end of this season they will properly look.

It's been 19 days of the tranfer window opened, how'd you know no championship clubs haven't been in for him?

  4. To think we sacrificed 1.5 million for him.

Clearly that was a very poor piece of business.

How? He's the joint 7th top scorer in the league, he's only 24.

If we had a good defence we'd fly up the league, he scored 2 yesterday, yes he missed a few but it wasn't his fault we conceded 2.

    Moloney...........Flint.............Williams.....Cunningham

    Maybe?

Looks good to me!!! Let's destroy them live on TV!

  6. I agree Jordan but I wouldn't see them as out and out wingers like people are hoping for. Bryan and wagstaff aren't bad crossers of the ball but they aren't those 'beat your man with skill and pace' type players.

That being said, I would love to see Bryan play more regularly. Look at Luke shaw at 18. Playing all the time at Southampton and being considered a contender for the World Cup squad.

Bryan is very much a beat your man with skill and pace type player IMO.

    He certainly has the ability.

  7. But isnt it the responsiblity of the club, not too offer packages they can't afford to actually pay? Regardless of how much some of them earn or have earned.

picture Ben Haim....he's effectively been told....come here instead of somewhere else and we'll give you 40k per week for 4 years, instead of another clubs £30k, if they then look up and say two years later.....actually we can't afford to pay you everything, can you help save the club and write off £2m we owe, but then we will be fine.....you'd say.....ok fair enough, not happy but fair enough saves the club and we can rebuild, if another year later the same thing happens again and the club start publically hammering you as killing the club, wouldnt you get you back up and say....actually no your taking the piss now,

    I would be livid.

I'd be like well OK, I was lucky to be earning more than many people get a year every week.

I understand the club is in problems and if I don''t take a cut I'd get nothing at all. Also many business's are being closed down as we can't pay them, so my wage can go towards that instead.

I would just be happy that i was overpaid for the 2 years before.

Its not like a normal job is it. Other people are affected.

  8. What exactly have the players done wrong? They signed contracts for money, the clubs should never have offered it, not putting in any relegation clauses is asking for trouble.

Ben Haim and Kitson have both said to SSN that the club are slating them to the press but not actually talking to the players about any compromise.

Ben Haim did say since the first administration he's already written of £2.5m!!! Sometimes clubs just take the piss, the way the club have acted since the first administration, with the signings of Lawrence and Kitson on silly money, it doesn't surprise me that the are trying to publically pressure players to write off more money, like Rangers think they should be wound up if cant pay their debts.

By taking massive fee's when they know the club is in problems and families are being ruined because of it.

Small business's are shutting down and people are going out of work.

Do the already millionaires care? No they keep taking more money and don't care about the consequences.
