  1. Just diving bastards probably . Unreal amount of penalties. ? I take this as a positive . Takes the pressure right off garner now. I heard last week on the efl show , Northampton will be very disappointed as rovers are a poor side and I think Lincoln got 3 players missing with international call ups . Cracks being majorly papered over.
  2. How disrespectful . Especially after you went to Wembley with them ?
  3. For any city fan not old enough to remember or any 15er reading this. This newspaper article is a major reason why we ******* detest your vile shitty little club
  4. They wouldn’t have any concept of the championship. Most of them probably weren’t born last time they were in the second tier. Twenty five years at least ain’t it .
  5. I agree, but whether you agree with Lansdown on things or not , listen to what he says. We have experts in charge and they have to be trusted to do their jobs. let’s face facts, this virus is here to stay, it could be years before there’s a vaccine . As in other walks of society , we have to get on with as much a normal life as possible. We’re all getting used to a new normal now in going about our day to day life. We have to with sport as well. I drove over the downs Saturday , all nets up and local football being played. How many of them had been tested. No doubt all sweating over one another and spitting . It can be done . There does however have to be clear rules in place . It’ll only be season ticket holders in the ground. Everyone will be traceable . As posted above , perhaps no alcohol should be served to start with. However that’s how clubs make money . It’s not easy , granted . It can be done though.
  6. People have to wear masks and for the third time . It has to be policed properly
  7. As I said it has to be policed properly. Most people going to the cinema will be young , who are the main age group transmitting the virus as most of them don’t socially distance. It’s in doors , more chance of transmission . There’s a circus on the downs at the moment as well. Ashton gate is perfect for a socially distanced crowd as are plenty of other grounds. As Lansdown states in his interview . We have experts in charge of the protocols. Trust them to do their jobs. no one thinks twice now of going to a supermarket . I was in Sainsbury's yesterday. Apart from people wearing masks , not one person is social distancing and everyone touching items on the shelves. If (big if ) people are sensible it can work. I , as most do , wear a mask, I’ve always got hand sanitiser in my van . I visit people’s houses to quote for work and always seek their approval and that every step has been taken to be safe beforehand. People need to be trusted because this virus is here for the long term .
  8. It would have to be policed properly , with stewards rejecting anyone from the ground not keeping to protocol and not turning a blind eye. I agree there’s a element of idiots who think the rules don’t apply to them. However , when the prime minister is openly encouraging people to go to cinemas , then football clubs have every right to be pissed off not allowing fans in.
  9. This is the thing. Was wally really being innovative in appointing a trendy ( young coach) or was it simply a financial decision
  10. He was joking , but I had him wound right up ?
  11. How mint would that be if they beat them . It’s getting to them. I was ripping the piss out of one of my best mates this afternoon who’s gas. He actually said he’ll hurt me next time we’re out ????
  12. A few draws would be best, let’s not get carried away ?
  13. Bret never had any pace when he was with us so he’s got none to lose with age. Natural goal scorers are the same no Matter what age though and he’s definitely that.
  14. Strange that some of their so called better players have left to play in a league below . I wonder why ?
  15. After that lot sold Gary mabbutt to spurs , they arranged a friendly with the fewers as part of the deal . The junior football club I played for (Somerdale wanderers) we’re given free tickets , thankfully In the muller rd end. Me & a mate noticed the gate was unlocked and walked across the dog track, sat right behind the net and started chatting to Ray Clemence ?
  16. It was common for this to happen all over the country back in the 1950’s and before motorways
  17. My dad and his brothers did it in the late 1940’s early 50’s until one day when city were away my grandad was ready to take his boys to eastville , when my dad said to him . I don’t want to go to rovers anymore , city’s my team ? How lucky was I . If he’d gone the other way , I’d be a bitter sand twisted sag now
  18. Not just the fans but the actual club have a inferiority complex. If they concentrated on being the best they can be instead obsessing over what we’re doing all the time it might help. That, and having continuous owners that haven’t got a pot to piss in hasn’t helped.
  19. Shit happens mate. My first game watching city was 1976 as a 5 year old. So I watched your club in the top flight with us [although I can’t remember it that much) You won the F.A and uefa cups. A amazing achievement for a relatively small club. Similar to forest in many ways . Even though you’re in league one now. We can all still laugh at Bristol rovers.
  20. ? what a plank. You’re pathetic little tin pot club . That lie and steal from their own. Have a fraud of a owner, looking dead certs for the drop back to the basement thinks he got us biting , bless. You’re a embarrassment to English football .,
  21. But that’s the thing , we’ll admit it if we played poorly . Not lie about everything to stroke our own egos like you muppets
  22. You were completely out played was my point but are Wiley waving at getting a point at a club that at their lowest ebb for decades. You’re fanbase are the most deluded in the country by a mile . Genuinely thinking you rival some of the bigger clubs in fanbase etc . When the reality is very different .
  23. Collective wankfest by those idiots about getting a point at a shambolic Sunderland sums them up. Watching the efl show last night . Colin Murray said , Sunderland had 72% possession and 25 shots on goal . According to the fewers though , they played well ??
