I just don't understand the logic...

Cornick plays better than most of the starters last game, Conway comes on and scores 2 winning the game for us so who plays that position.... Wells.

I guess Pearson sees or knows something we don't, otherwise this just baffles me, I'd have him 3rd pick at this point for that position.

We have to be careful with Conway therefore on the bench I guess. Wells before Cornick for me, should we be one up then Cornick come in. He is strong, can defend, good player.

    Hi folks

As I posted on the Post Hull thoughts thread in August, I was impressed with Bristol City performance at Hull, you deserved all three points imo! I thought Pring, Naismith & Knight stood out in that game.

I see only a point divides Leeds & Bristol City in the table. Are you playing well of late?

I'm expecting the robins having more to offer than our two previous home opponents Watford & QPR on Saturday. Naturally I'm hoping for three points but, I'm unconvinced we'll get them, even though Bristol City's record isn't good against Leeds, the result could go either way, that's the championship for you!

The win in Rotherham was important, but we did not play well. Think today game be like our Leicester away, lost 1-0. We have to be good in defence and be calm with ball and head. You are favourites but If we can hang on long in to the game we can score. We have young lads who are fast in legs and mind, older players who can really make good passes. It gonna be an interesting game I think.

That is the one thing that really gets me.
Kalas says if we couldn't beat the offer, he understands why they didn't get back in touch. He's been here long enough to be due some respect, and just should have been contacted to say , sorry but thanks and all the best . Any contract offer the other way I would expect his agent to do, but surely after 4/5 years he deserves someone at the Club to contact him.

Yes, shake hands and good luck.

Hard to use that statistic after 5 games really. We've not played any of the sides that you would expect to be there at the end of the season in the relegated prem teams. You could also say we've only picked up 1 point from a possible 6 at home averaging out at 23 points over a season - relegation numbers.
I do get the overall point you are making, it's a good number of points on the board from the first 5 games and it's not all doom and gloom

Brum, Hull, Preston can be top half table. Early days.

Can’t we save all the posts about wage budgets, Lansdown, lack of spending of the Scott money for the multitude of other threads on those topics? This thread should surely be about today’s excellent performance from the players who are actually here. I was only able to listen to the commentary today, but even from that it sounded like one of our most dominant performances at this level for years. Interested to know if those watching today agree.

Yes, we played well, the team was unit. Fast legs and good passes. Everyone did their job and more.
