Why are people holding JL to what is said in a pr interview, he's always going to big us up for the players sakes and fans sake, imagine he came out and said mid-sole at best don't even think of play offs, there would be pages and pages of people slagging off his approach and how it does not put us in a good light for a new manager aswel as crushing the squads confidence.

No-one believes a politician so why is this any different

He is the chairman of our football club, underachieving was the reason given for sacking Pearson, crayon boy needs to stand by his words, the old saying "dont piss down my back and tell me its raining" comes to mind.

Nonsense, him and his old man, have got us closer to the top flight than anyone else. He's not as bad a manager as people think he is. When he was appointed at Fleetwood, this forum was littered we've people saying they would be relegated by January, and he would never keep them up.... Had Covid not happened, he would have taken us up that year, we were bang up there until the pandemic came along and our season fell apart.

    That is just utter drivel.

In other news, Oxford are 2-0 up away from home and Lee Johnson has 3-0 up at home to Exeter. A team looking like they were sprinting to relegation before he arrived are on the way to recording their 6th win since he arrived. His record currently 5 wins, 4 draws* and 3 defeats. (* = lost on penalties). League record 12 pts from a possible 24, about to be 15pts from a possible 27, meaning 15pts from 9 games. A team who had 1pt before he arrived, are 45 minutes from getting out the relegation zone..... Many, may not like him, but no one can deny he's currently doing a blinding job there.

    Found his level.

What was the expiry date of the other mate?

It is incorrectly written there were just the three of us who did it. I lost contact over the years with the 57 guy, I might try and track him down.

  5. As a young idiot in my mid teens in the 80s me and three friends did a Ouija board about two weeks after a friend died in a car crash, he was who was summoned up or whatever you call it (yes as tasteless as it gets), various questions were asked and the pointer moved to various answers, we all thought the other person was moving it as i never believed any of that nonsense, but we each took it in turns to take our fingers off and when it was just mine on there it was still moving...... anyway a question was asked when would each of us die, mate number one was 47, me 53 my other mate 57, mate number one died at age 47 six years ago, I put it down to coincidence, but now  me as a previously very fit bloke who has never had anything seriously wrong have had two heart attacks in the last 12 months, the last one two weeks ago, I am 53, to say i am a bit worried would be an understatement, it has made me wonder. If I make it to 54 next March I will update the thread..... a true story.
