  1. I'll give you a clue. They don't dislike the new bloke. Yet.
  2. Honestly wouldn't surprise me.
  3. He didn't say that. But he expected it of Pearson. What's the difference, do you think?
  4. They are not looking for either really. They are looking for a kissass.
  5. Beadle? Bit late for that. Unless you mean Jeremy, in which case... yeah... definitely a bit late for that.
  6. Alright. If it's Katherine Jenkins, I'll go back.
  7. No. She played a doll. Not a puppet.
  8. Cheers. Yes, I am only too aware that it won't make any difference to the Lansdowns, just as the views of the supporters don't, whichever side of any debate they are on, but this week is the final straw for me, and I will not line the pockets of people that I no longer respect and sadly now actively dislike. It is the right call for me. And yes, my username does indeed refer to the 'polish George Best', and not to me being a Swansea fan as I was accused of all those years ago when I started on here.
  9. If it was possible to make a worse decision than they did last week, that would be it I think you might be right.
  10. You're work is done. You can go back to whatever else it is that you do for BS now.
  11. Thanks, and yes, this is true. In fact, the main mantra that I endeavour to live my life by, which is not so much to do with 'anger' (because that always subsides eventually), but more to do 'worry' (which is a far greater threat to wellbeing), is that I always try not to fret about things that I can't do anything about. Of course, in this instance, the one thing that I can control is whether I give the Lansdowns another penny of my money. And I will not. Ever again.
  12. Yeah thanks. Really constructive advice. I'll think about it.
  13. Reasonable assessment. I certainly don't consider myself that, Although if people want to call me it (or something similar), that's up to them. I just appreciate what NP has done, was doing, and the disgusting way at a time of poor health that he has been treated. I am angry, and I will no longer support those that have done it, or had a hand in it. It's not even just about NP. It's how they have behaved for years. I want them gone.
  14. I am all for debate and opposing opinions (unlike the Lansdowns), but you really do talk such utter shite. If anyone on here works for Bristol Sport (and they do), I would bet my house it's you.
  15. Because he is a builder. It's what he does. Ask the Leicester supporters. Do you remember the Holden era? No problems if not, because thankfully if you blinked you would have missed it. A bloated, overpaid squad littered with mediocre players and show ponies like Kasey ****ing Palmer, left over from the 'wonderboys' toy store shopping spree, funded to the hilt by an owner behaving like a besotted sugar daddy. A club heading for financial and probably point penalties due to a used car salesman type hoodwinking said sugar daddy. A club with no direction, no identity, no leadership, no connection with the supporters, no ****ing professionalism whatsoever. And a club without a pot to piss in. Pearson remedied all of that. And he did so with (yes the cliche) his hands tied behind his back. And probably blindfolded as well. And he had to do all of that before he could even start to 'build'. He said when he came in that it would take three years to get us 'in a position' to challenge. The Lansdowns bottled it and binned him off after two and a half because he wouldn't suck up. A poster on here made a great analogy of it being like employing someone with a great reputation to build your house and then binning them off before they put the roof on because they didn't take their shoes off. (The shoes off bit is my own addition). I don't think that there is nobody else that can take us forward. But I do think that the clowns won't employ them. They want a suck up. That's it. That's why Brian ****ing Tinnion has so much undeserved influence at the club.
  16. As I have said, I really couldn't give a rat's arse who comes in now. They have just binned the right man for this football club. But at least with Lampard we would be on the telly a lot. Which would be good for me, because I ain't buying a ticket again under the Lansdowns.
  17. Well, you would have to have been thick to want Pearson out, so....
  18. Of course it isn't, because they just wanted Pearson gone. They don't care who replaces him. They aren't interested any more. Complete bunch of ****s.
  19. The bullshitters want a bullshitter. No shit.
  20. We aren't going to attract a Nigel Pearson. Or anyone with any pedigree and personality.
