Can remember watching City playing Everton in League Cup and getting hammered 5-0, maybe 1967, stood on terracing where Dolman Stand now is, Alan Ball playing. Next time I saw a World Cup winner play was when City beat Fulham 6-0 with George Cohen playing for them, 1969.

Lazenby, Laird and Hawkins were their top players back in the day.
And Alan Hurford before them. Can remember playing against Bridgy at the old Castle Field ground.

He's a Manager who has more to shout about than most Bosses we've ever had but he always diverts talk to the Players and Club and not himself. His interviews are a masterclass in to say how it is with no bullshit, imo we're lucky to have him. If he can't turn the Club around, then no one can. Get well soon Nige.

If anyone should have a stand named after them it should be Deryn Coller and Ken Sage.
