  1. He a guy who rides around various places in a bike playing drum and bass music from speakers. He did one which started at the suspension bridge a while back.

He’s very popular and is like a pied piper in that hundreds if not thousands follow him around the route.

It’s usually all very good natured.

I assume city have him the shirt with his name on the back as a PR exercise.

  2. Manning made a big point in his radio Bristol Interview of how good it was to have James back, hopefully he makes sure we resign him. Good experienced professional who sets the standard and moves us forward. Give him a 2 year deal.

Dont call me a liar. I say what i think and tell the truth.

Sky bet actually would only let me put £20 max on it so i went through to bet 365 to put the rest on, i took screen shots for you.1.thumb.png.47274657d3fb9e2cdc16eca9b4ff0073.png2.thumb.png.1cf479a2665b1a254b66c3d2ea6554c2.png4.thumb.png.1edc250b927047bab6d9a9b1a996aacb.png

    Shocking odds on B365.

Alan Dicks has a lot in common with Liam Manning.  He was a young coach who no one had heard of when he was brought in as manager, and a very vocal section of the fans were screaming for him to be sacked in his first season at the club.  Luckily Harry Dolman resisted that temptation, held his nerve, and eventually it paid off, big time.

Do you seriously think Manning can do what Dicks did and take us to the top flight?

    Agree 100% mate

It’s sad but in some ways I prefer a low grade racing night out on the flat up bath. Cheap as chips, decent view, can get a decent bet on ok, nice surroundings, not ripped off, they make an effort and put bands etc on.

I'd add stupid rules and regs while there, one in one out etc, no beer outside the tents!

I usually go tattersalls, but that’s got stupidly busy so now usually go Club, but even that is full of assholes. It’s not the day out it was say 15 years ago.

Cheltenham is certainly not what it was, crowds down and uncompetitive racing

I have my own ideas/reasons for the dwindling crowds, anybody else have any opinions?

    Cost of living.

    Standard of racing.

Ridiculous cost of food and drink.

    Ticket prices.

    Transport.

Did we not do any background on this bloke before hiring him!

How on earth did this guy get to pick and train our team

The bloke, to me at least, appears to be/is on the Autism spectrum!

He trots out the same crap every week with no recognizable personality. Which surprise surprise shows up in our team each week

What has happened TGH Knight and particularly Conway. The latter is a shadow of the player he was!

    Christ someone make this stop!

Well done, you’ve won the **** of the day award by an absolute mile!

I most likely won't renew this year, I haven't been enjoying for a while now, and this season only renewed out of habit,

But it will also depend on how much the put the prices up by, I just don't see it as value for money anymore

I’m in exactly the same place. I’ll only renew if my son wants to, I’m not interested anymore really and don’t enjoy the match day experience like I used to. The ground is completely atmosphere free sadly.

Can you confirm how many people have asked to come on the pod since you came on here and said anyone is welcome?

A rough estimate is fine as I'm sure it's loads given the number that come on here and say how taking apart Ian's arguments would be as easy as kicking snow off a piece of rope.

Like I say, I'm sure it's too many to count, but a rough estimate would be interesting.

    12,768 is my guess.

There's a problem with your logic.

I've just been told some mates are meeting in the Commercial Rooms , which opens at 8am so ........

He does tend to talk utter shit. So I’d take what he says and completely and utterly ignore it 👍😂

I'm sure players come here full of hope and excitement about what they can achieve with us and then realise the best they can hope for is to use us as a stepping stone to better things.....

    Aka Bournemouth…
