I'm not sure anybody on this thread is condoning football hooliganism. The issue is one of proportionality. Football fans are often subjected to draconian legislation and the tactics the police use to enforce these draconian laws often involve excessive force and intentional provocation.

You can never rely on CCTV. Sometimes it is deleted by the police goes missing as in the case of Hillsborough.

Had Palace kept Dougie Freedman, it might have been them rather than Cardiff at the top. Holloway has come along and ****** it all up. Freedman has dragged Bolton into the play offs. There is no way on earth, holloway could have done the same at Bolton.

Palace had a fanstastic chance at promotion this season. Under the guidance of Holloway that chance has evaporated. Well done Holloway. Proper Job.
