Anyone got the rest of the article they can copy and paste? So what are players not playing in the 100 supposed to do? A lot of pros won't be 'developmental' but also won't be picked up by the teams.
Thing is Abell picked up when he dropped down the order, captaincy on top of the pressure of making it work if he moved back to the top could be too much. Eddie Byrom is normally an opener who has moved down, Tom Lammonby, has Ben Green opened?
Nope didn't look it, all IPL captains have to sign up to a code of conduct to play the game in the right spirit as well apparently Warne's one to talk, didn't he do it to Marlon Samuels...
You can sign a player without him being registered with the league though, pretty sure they announced the deal was complete subject to international clearance (which they seemingly got) not subject to premier league registration.
Just seen it, thats awful, Jos hasn't even left the crease when Ashwin stops he waits for Jos to leave his crease, could've sworn that way of doing it was against the rules as opposed to bowler stopping when seeing them out of the crease.
A tweet posted on there - 'Despite this Villa may be okay in terms of FFP as some costs are excluded. Have estimated that FFP losses for last two seasons are £25.1 million so maximum loss for 2018/19 is £13.9 million. Will be tough due to parachute payments falling but not impossible #AVFC'
Some players potentially there to pinch if they need the money then..?
