  1. he had 46 games in charge won 11 of those and only 2 of those in the last 27 thats plenty of time for a team he built on his own (not other peoples players like with McInnes and Millen) he failed big time but people can't see past that 5-2 smashing we had at home to donnie on johnson, We have never played attractive football under him every single stat that can be produced is against him yet people seem to think 22nd and another relegation will be fine, If we dropped again under SoD he's have to rebuild again with more players as we wouldnt afford league one wages and could well be in the gas's situation next season, It couldn't go on any longer, its the correct call
  2. ignore the booikies for about 7 days thats just where the money is going, when odds start to drop from 10/1 to 1/3 thats when you take notice, and its a results business and we haven't got those so its the correct call, 2 wins in 27 if how JL termed it, no manager lasts with a record like that
  3. Just personal prefrence thats all I've always like colin and in my view he's what we need given our current situation, In hindsight I was wrong about robbins and we should of appointed him but thats by the by
  4. what about millen tinnion Merson etc
  5. its 2 wins in 18 and 6 wins in 24 at home thats cost him his job as well as the constant poor performances dispite backing of the board with his 14 or more new signings
  6. completely the right call, Results and performances have been poor for most of the season and 10 wins in 44 games in charge is absolutly shocking
  7. I agree they aren't poor batsmen but they get themselfs out instead of being bowled out, our batsmen go about it as if its a one day game looking to smash 300 runs from 50 overs (thats the feeling I've got recently), Test match is a 5 day game and about score building, only Thre of our current bats men I feel are capable of this Cook, Bell and Trott and in the last seris cook and trott were poor so I find it no coincadance that our batting let us down alot in that series, I've not seen enough of carberry to be honest but he could be the old head that anchors our top order together
  8. no but our batting line up makes too many mastakes and for some reason they keep trying to play the sweep shot, The last series we were never really bowled out we got ourselfs out most of the time, which is the most frustrating part of watching england bat, We could do with a geoffry boycott at number 4 imo
  9. should be a good one and i think we have got into the aussies heads a bit, but never write them off
  10. a date will be announced once we know the result of our planning application for AG (due 27th Nov), I think I read somewhere it was postponed until the 29th Nov back in oct, I think they are waiting on the out come and objections (which there has been 4 so far) before they decided whether to ditch the stadium at Ashton Vale,
  11. public transport in the city is crap full stop, butting in a halt at ashton gate wouldn't solve this, When the portishead line is reopened (and it will be just a matter time) AG may not be included but that doesn't mean it will never be built, it would be one platform about 120m long and would cost about 50k max to install Signalling wouldn't have to change to much as theres already signals around the old halt site which are used by freight trains, I we as a club should be utilising is the park and ride areas near avonmouth and long ashton, they could use those car parks and put on extra buses to shuttle people in and out of the ground and if the club were savey about it, could included as an added option on the season ticket,
  12. the atyeo is staying the same for the time being so no seg will be needed which is how I understand it too
  13. its not about filling the stadium it never has been, its about increasing mtach day revenue (hospitality boxes) and non matchday revenue which we have missed out on for years now, atmoshphere and accustics doesn't put money into the bank account sadly
  14. its only recommended for approval we all know what that means, the council planning team will rejected it

and thats why you get little sympathy from me and many others and a small minority actiually spported us in our efferts and all its done is come back and bite you in the ass, I think yours may well end up dead in the water and with the rugby moving out it may well be a long time before you can recover, Higgs shouldn't of alienated the rugby club and the gas should of openly supported us in our efforts we would of done the same

yes but its doubling in size into a distrbution centre as well, the type of thing they are trying to get away from, Ithink in terms of sainsburys both devlopements for city and rovers will be scrapped now, ours wasn't dependant theirs was so in other words they are up the creek, New ground and you f cked it up to the tune of go west
