Absolute rubbish FK from Wells, terrible effort.
-
FFS, this is just typical stuff now, struggling to create anything. Mehmeti keeps wandering inside, Williams can't play an accurate pass, come on City get it toghether
-
we are making heavy work of this

Cornick on for Bell

Bell pulls up, looks like hamstring gone

They look quicker to the ball than us at the moment, bit labored from us
we started brightly the first 6 or 7 mins, but struggling to put anything together since

Only because the 3 starting up front shouldn't be!

Sykes maybe not quite fully fit yet, as for me if he is fully fit he is a nailed on starter on RHS of front 3.

Strong.
Hope it's good Mehmeti playing rather than frustrating Mehmeti.
I was thinking the same about Bell !

Indeed Dave- a loss tomorrow would be very "us".
Which is why this match is so interesting - after two great wins for the new regime, will we 'do' the usual & fluff our lines?? -or are we to witness City play with style, panache, putting the R's to the sword and making us all sit up & take notice.
Will be an interesting afternoon!
Indeed very well put, this game provides a real barometer for Liam Manning. Will start to turn a lot of doubters around if he can engineer a win.

Have to say I felt the same after beating Sunderland, Hull, Watford, thinking the next three of Millwall, Birmingham, Preston could be an opportunity to push on. Rarely works out that way.
We are becoming a cracking counter attacking side. Let’s hope we also have worked out how to unpick sides that sit back and try and pick us off.
Exactly this, would be no real surprise if we flopped in the next 3 games against "lesser" sides, just like we did after winning 3 on the trot as referenced above.
Hopefully lessons will have be learned from that experience, let's hope so!

Now it would just be so Bristol City to get 1 point or so out of QPR and Sheff Wed…
Well those 2 games will be the test, our last brilliant performance was winning at Watford, making it 3 wins in a row. Then we faced matches against 'lesser' sides and only drew with Brum and lost to Millwall. So let's see 6 more points from QPR & S.Weds.
