  1. Dear me, can't see where a goal from us is coming from...too many poor passes and too slow to turn it around when Burton do venture forward.
  2. Only seen last 15 mins but Elliason looks really poor, not got the beating of his man at all and had at least 4 chances to get cross in and not succeeded once... needs to be taken off at HT.
  3. Feeling uneasy, as we should be winning this game, but there again we should have beaten Millwall. An early City goal would work wonders for my nerves!
  4. Full line-ups: City: Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Bryan, Eliasson, K.Smith, Brownhill, Paterson, Diedhiou, Reid. Subs: Steele, Magnússon, Hegeler, Pack, Leko, O'Dowda, Woodrow. Burton Albion: Bywater, Warnock, Buxton, McFadzean, Akins, Akpan, Murphy, Allen, Warnock, Mason, Varney. Subs: Ripley, Lund, Scannell, Dyer, Flanagan, Naylor, Sordell.
  5. We just need to make sure we don't take Burton lightly and win that game after the international break, and then, for the 1st time this season we will be better placed than last season. Agree all the signs are good, look much more of a team this season than early part of last where a lot of the good early results were down to having Tammy. Still want to see last season's bogey put to rest and then means keeping the same intensity and tempo to our play and beating Burton on Friday 13th - no frights wanted!
  6. Very controlled performance, aside from the Garner volley cant recall Frankie having a serious safe to make 2nd half. If being super critical we might have got the 3rd earlier, saw the best and worst in COD with break 5 mins or so into 2nd half when after good run all he had to do was pass first time to one of two City players inside him, but he stopped checked inside and lost the ball. Really good win, but worth remembering this result means that after 11 games we have the same points as last season and we all know how that turned to sh1t quickly.
  7. Missed the first 10 mins trying to get working stream, but from the rest of the half we have been pretty much in control with a lot of the play coming through COD. Bailey Wright a bit suspect with several misplaced passed and was certainly not in RB position to even attempt to stop the cross from which they scored. Would like to see Paterson find his man more often, taken a couple of greedy shots when we had others up in better positions. Overall though got to be happy, but need to stay sharp as Waghorn's goal showed how clinical they can be with limited chances.
  8. Fully agree, so refreshing to see crosses hit with pace so only need a touch from a forward in contrast to Pato's floaty nothing crosses and corners.
