  1. The manner of the defeat was very disappointing, can't believe Cotts didn't use Jet in the 2nd half to try and conjure something out of nothing. Still time to regroup .v. Preston who have lost their last 3 league games now...
  2. Agent Akinde has netted twice for Barnet, maintaining the nice gap they have over NLBR...
  3. but it's not just this game, unless we can win an appeal, we lose Elliot for 3 games and he, for me, is key in our side...
  4. My feelings exactly, must admit thought we would lose today with Oldham being on excellent form, us dropping points the last two matches and the LJ factor... so absolutely delighted to have won and kept a clean sheet. Add in the other results today going so well for us, and it's fantastic
  5. Sorry to pour water on this hot topic, but reckon it will all end next week with defeat .v. Oldham... ... after all it's always Lee Johnson's fault
  6. Maybe bring back Osbourne and switch Ayling to right wing back in place of Little?
  7. Elliot's the one I'd rest, based on Bradford game, like to see Smith & Pack together.
  8. See Pitman scored again for Bournemouth... hadn't been in the side until last week when he grabbed 2, wouldn't mind him back in Jan to support our final push!
  9. Come on you purple & limes... not expecting to lose today, that will come next week against Oldham as it's always Lee Johnson's fault...
  10. As Nibor pointed out in another thread, we are not losing leads because of a 'gung-ho' approach - almost the reverse. The corner that Bradford got to level it a 2-2 was only conceded 'cos Williams (who generally played well), suddenly decided to stop mid stride and pass back and sidewards instead of forward like he had been doing most of the match. I'm convinced if it had still been 1-1 he would have delivered another cross field diagonal ball in the direction of Wilbs, but 'cos we had gone 2-1 up he thought I'll play safe, went backwards we got into trouble with Bradford pushing on to us, conceded the corner and there you go. Different players, not all defenders, have made similar poor decisions when we have been leading late on. Inevitably trying to play safe, has invited pressure and gone against us. If the ball had been hit forward, we might have lost possession but that would have been on the edge of their own box, not on the edge of ours forcing us to concede a corner.
  11. Setting off for the gate in 15 mins, reckon it will be a close match tonight. Bradford have only lost 1 away in 6 league matches and their physical presence could cause us problems at set pieces as Cotts as highlighted. I'm predicting a 2-2 draw, but hoping for another 3-2 win!
  12. Was just thinking the same, don't want to see another 2 goal lead disappear....
  13. would be great to see some videos posted of our fans at the match...oh I wish I was there!
  14. Predicated 1-2 and still think it well end that way I'm afraid, Smith is a huge loss, shame Elliot missed great chance to make it 2-0.
  15. Cant argue with result...but still would prefer to see 4 at the back at home allowing Jet to start to add more creativity...
  16. Yes, just a tad disappointed after Cotts had said we were 'going for it' then we give our two most creative players a grand total of 14 mins match time between them.
