Playing centre forward does not suit Bell's natural game, so much better when on the left and can cut-in. Trouble is that's also Mehmeti's best position. I'd have Wells over Bell as CF anytime.
Expecting Mehmeti to start in place of Bell
Barring any knocks that would be my only change from side that started against Man City, although I suspect NP may start Cornick (for whom the jury is still out, in my book) in placed of Wells. Just hope we don't have Weimann starting in place of Sykes.
highlights on FA Player now, perhaps a bit lucky not to be behind at HT. Miss of the season by Hayles at start of second half, before she scored.
The FA Player
and that is after 9 games unbeaten in the league, which just goes to show that talk of reaching the play-offs is pie-in-the-sky. That said it's right to aim for as high a finish as possible and a top ten place is certainly on the cards IF we can maintain our recent good form.
Don;t know what game you were watching, but we gave it a real go against one of the best teams in the world. The fact we were still in the game with 15 mins to go, is testament to that.
FT 0-3, but we were right in the match up to the Vyner og 15 mins from time.
Kalas my City MotM, thought he was superb. Pring really good too. All over a decent performance, with some good football. Well done City.
Yep, pretty pleased with that. Kalas and Pring both been first class, as well as Scott of course.
Sam Bell least impressive, had two good runs but picked wrong options and badly at fault for their goal, where he just switched off.
If Man City are on it we could easily be slaughtered like the Woman were against them, 0-6 & 1-8 in their two cup games this season.
I'm hoping that's not the case and we can stay in the game for at least an hour, but to do that every player on our side is going to have to be at the top of their game.
