I thought he played very well, especially considering he’s been out for a while. It wasn’t a great touch before the second yellow but not sure what he could have done once he lost the ball.

Have seen a lot of people suggest that it was a disciplinary matter. I interpreted it as “the rules” apply to everyone in that if you don’t perform you don’t play.
