Hes only just started the job. Be interesting to see how he gets on. It might work it might not. Clive Woodward didn't exactly work at Southampton in a similar role.
-
Gotta sort out that barnet

Calamity James on the highlights just doing his thing on 36 mins 43 secs ?

If it wasn't for the points deductions I'd wager on us getting relegated. We'd only be 5 points clear and I think Pearson would be close to getting the bullet. With the points deductions we are as good as safe

His ceiling is frightening. To think he's still got more development in his body to go and will only get stronger and faster in the next couple of years.

"Of Course, It's Not Like The Old Days"
pride of the west replied to Port Said Red's topic in Football Chat
Oh yes I agree but if they were widely accepted across all levels of society at the time, then there wouldn't have been front page headlines everytime he got new ink because nobody would care. Think back to how many footballers had tattoos 25 years ago. Hardly any when you look through old photos. Now youd probably find most players have them. -

Agreed. Definitely the start of making tattoo's the norm and perfectly acceptable. The back pages as well as some front pages were full of it whenever he got a new tattoo 25 years ago. Didnt take long after for society to not give two hoots about tattoo's. -
Say goodbye to your loved ones. No seriously they're a lovely bunch but make sure you don't take a regulars seat.

Blimey I had no idea he was up there. Is there anywhere further possible? Fair play to him at such a young age. Could be just what he needs.

The Office (UK): Ipswich Town edition
pride of the west replied to LondonBristolian's topic in Football Chat
No doubt Marky boy will bag himself a pre and post match interview so he can declare himself leader of the free world and let everyone know that everyone in the industry are peering over the garden fence in admiration of all things Ipswich. -
Assuming Newcastle were interested at 25 mil which is the point any sell on becomes worthwhile in the grand scheme of things, would we perhaps be better off if he stays at Bournemouth for the time being with any other potential add ons we may have put in place that would become null and void if he moves? Just putting it out there. Say a sell on would net us 2mil now. What if for instance we have money on 75 appearances and then 100 appearances? Plus a big bonus should he get an England cap? Its only going to take a good start next year in the prem and maybe an injury or two and southgate will be looking. He's already well on the radar in that regard. I dont think it's beyond the realms of possibility that staying put and hitting targets would net us more.

The scary thing is that Ashton is basically in charge of the spending peoples pensions. I wouldnt want him anywhere near my kids piggy bank let alone my pension. -
Nobody actually saw him do it. Witnesses of him running to and from the scene wasn't enough to prove he did it unfortunately.
