  1. Every player will be expected to return to training but I dont expect the club's will force them to return. That said, 6 confirmed cases has to be better than anyone could have expected from the number of clubs tested. It'll surely give players and staff confidence that there is a way forward and that they can push on from this point.
  2. I hear you but I doubt any of those 35000 would want their families or any of us to be beaten by this virus. We have to rise above it as opposed to give into it, be positive and be strong and get back to normality as quickly as we can. It's the only way to win.
  3. They feel at that time people will be able to spend time away at Main cities/seaside resorts together without distancing during half term to enjoy themselves. Why are people so ******* negative. Beats me.
  4. Govt looking to fit in extra Bank Holiday in October to help with British Tourism. Think that is a massive pointer to us being back to normality then plus us being able to watch our football team from the stands !! Here's hoping !!
  5. They can isolate them and squads in both Prem and Championship are enormous so no issues there.
  6. A very good chance I'd say. Let's just say I'm very close to what's happening within the hospitals and we are winning.
  7. I'd imagine it'll come back on a yearly basis to some extent but nothing like the original wave and nothing that we couldn't cope with going forward.
  8. October date formed part of Boris's 50 page plan of getting back to normal and Lansdown stated that fans could be back in the Autumn. Numbers if virus infections have reduced dramatically in the last week as well as deaths and hospitals are surprised how quickly numbers on wards are reducing so it does look as though things are improving at a faster rate than those two aforementioned thought. Long may it continue.
  9. We will be back in grounds by October at the latest, September even, if the rate of infection continues to drop as it is, vaccine or no vaccine. It will be virtually non existent by then.
  10. Why the surprised face? You did mean November yeah? If we still have social distancing then like it is now then we are all doomed!
  11. Don't worry yourself over it as the season will be completed now
  12. Can't agree. Football starting up will be a massive boost to the well being of many thousands.
  13. No way will they test key workers who don't have symptoms. If one tests positive then whole teams of key workers will have to isolate. They won't risk that or else there will be no one left !
  14. LJ has already stated everyone is in favour of restarting season.
  15. Agree that L1 and L2 season will almost certainly be over bar promotion and relegation arguments and clubs will be compensated. Don't agree re Championship. Think most if not all clubs in Championship would be able to take financial hit re football behind closed doors and would also vote yes to getting season finished. Convinced they'll be given green light to start training soon and then conclude season in June.
