HA HA HA HA HA!

Anyone else having issues with player on the iPhone app?
-
Taking my little one to his first game today. He has been ridiculously excited all week. Just hope we don't do anything stupid!
-
Setting off about 11am. Going to be a huge following and hopefully 3 points!
Buzzing.

Totally agree but was merely saying it was an option, clearly not a popular one!As discussed by the brighton fans on this thread, he has played a few times at centre mid, but its not his forte. Centre back is his best position and were we will no doubt play him.

Not my first idea and am sure he'll play centre half but if we need an enforcer then he's an animal.I haven't seen anywhere that SC said he had played midfield. As far as I'm aware it was on Wikipedia and a number of Brighton fans have since confirmed he's really just a centre half.
I'm just surprised that was your first idea of how to use him. I also don't see Pack as an attacking midfielder, he hasn't got the pace or fitness. He's a good passer of the ball and he sits in front of the back four. That's his game.
Literally first thing on wiki says, "He has since been a regular in the first team squad and can play either in defence at right-back or centre-half, or in a more defensive midfield type role." (And no I didn't edit it).
He is clearly a 100% player who is very versatile.

I'm pleased you're not the manager!
You'd sign a centre half and then play him as a holding midfielder, then ask a 'sitting' midfielder (Pack) to push on as an attacking midfielder????
Again he has played holding midfield before at Brighton as SC said. As for Pack when he played further forwards for Cheltenham he was excellent.

"get alongside JET behind Barnett and Baldy"
No I said, "I'd love to see him in a holding role with Pack and Reid given license to get alongside JET behind Barnett and Baldy." He holds and Pack and Reid get alongside JET.
-
So, you put a defender in a midfield role, whilst giving him license to be a striker as well
Interesting......
Where do I say he'd get license as a striker? He has played defensive midfield before as SC said.

I'd love to see him in a holding role with Pack and Reid given license to get alongside JET behind Barnett and Baldy. That could be very exciting.

Past your bedtime?
More the boredom of your current sniping at the new regime. Still waiting for Cotterill etc to fall on his ass and he isn't. Good signings, decent pick up in results and you just constantly find something to snipe about. It gets a bit boring.

YawnMy thoughts exactly.
The pillars are beginning to creek.

Brighton fans on twitter seem genuinely gutted. Good signing although I don't understand why it's necessary unless fonts and Wilson are off.
-
Missed his penalty though!
That is true but can't see him getting the ball off Baldy in that situation!
-
Thought he was outstanding down here this season with Assombalonga. Tore us apart.
-
Its a disease down here that every manager has to make unnecessary subs to "see out the game" that inevitably backfire.
For the first time I don't see how we're going to get out of this (and I can't believe in saying that).
-
Haven't I seen this before? Bossed the game, missed chances, defensive changes, late goal. We're f**ked.
-
I assume its that low because of Christmas?Very impressive attendance of 23,742.
-
3-5-2 surely? Wags and Greg as wingbacks.

I'm of the same mind. If he's the best man for the job then should it matter? I know it does but should it?Holloway would do a decent job for sure, he's everything we need from a manager. I'm willing to accept him... not sure about everyone else though.

what was the chant at the derby "we've got our stadium"?
oh how the chickens have come home to roost
Chickens that won't be sold in Sainsburys I'd imagine...

Bristol Sport Ltd (aka SL and friends) might take a peek, who knows.
Not as if he's spending much cash here at the moment, I think he's got some free cash lying around...
-
But they have no money..what and how will they redevelop, the question has to be asked.. how long are sainsbury prepared to wait.
Could SL buy the Mem back from Rovers for Bristol Rugby and redevelop it? Let Rovers play there as their lodgers, you know the way it used to be?
