  1. So once again we're on that shity Mw radio where you mostly get the odd bit of commentary between the horrible crackling oh the joys, think I've figured out why this is & can only be that the majority of our supporters actually attend the match where as the sags have such a large following they can't all get into these small non league grounds so a lot have to miss out so they put it on Fm so they can listen it's the only explanation I can give for the non league 16:53's getting priority over us, still takes the piss big time though fukin wanky Bbc radio.

1548 mw seems to have stopped broadcasting altogether now !! :ranting:

  2. The thing is, I obviously watch QT from a completely different angle than you.

I see people every week that are quite clearly members of the Tory party,it doesn't take a genius to spot them.

You probably see people who to you are quite clearly Labour members.

We all see things differently, but to you it's political bias,to me it's because more people dislike this government than like it.

That can be said of any government in power, Bill.

  3. If you were a black South African at the time of apartheid, and you were treated like utter s..., weren't allowed to vote, own property or get a decent education because of your race what would you do? If you had to resort to violence to lead a normal life because nothing else would work would you? They did what they did because they wanted something better that would not come any other way for them, they fought for, and got change.

I suggest you read my post above.

You are trying to start an argument with the wrong man, pal!

  4. It is amazing that so many people on this website can believe the official line on Mandela. He was a terrorist as is Mugabe of Zimbabwe. He would have been released at any time if he had rejected violence and stopped the killing of whites. Perhaps you could explain why Winnie Mandela necklaced so many African kids

Mugabe is a **** of the highest order.

Yes, he and Mandela were allies before both took office.

However, one took the path of vengeance and retribution. The other took the path of forgiveness and united his country.

The two men cannot be compared.

  5. An amusing post from the slag forum  :laughcont:  :

WHAT THE F!? Why the hell were we invited to watch the confirmation on the screen at the Mem then!? Why the hell were we on the fkin news jumping about celebrating and had Higgs n Dunford coming in the bar hugging people n buying them drinks!!? I THOUGHT/Was led to believe that it was because WE HAD THE STADIUM! It was CONFIRMED! that's why we were CELEBRATING!! Now we're left looking like complete tits!

How many fkin hurdles have we got to go over!? That was supposed to be the last one!? But no there could still be more!? Why the hell did they let us celebrate prematurely like that!?

I'm fkin devastated with this news

  6. How many times over the years have they been fed the same crap about a new stadium.

Our board get some crap but look what we could have as an alternative.

Nick Griffin, Boycie & Dunceford..........

  7. Filipinos are lovely people and the Philippines is a beautiful, if very poor country. I doubt that there is another country where the people can be more welcoming. The reports show people with literally nothing left, yet they still manage a smile and vow to carry on.

Unfortunately, the country's infrastructure is very limited, and they are destined to struggle with putting their lives back together after this disaster. The rebuilding will take years.

Credit to Havantopia for staying put to help.

The Philippines needs as many friends as it can get now; that includes countries and also individuals.

  8. It's not condoning it, the people who go to games to cause trouble are idiots the lot of them and if guilty will get their cummupence however I do feel the police could of done more to prevent this from happening which as their job is to ensure public safety should of been their main concern. Prevention is always better than reacting to the problem

This seems prevalent now with "modern policing".

Any violent outbreak these days (riots etc..) is met with filming of the perpetrators, then kettling them. No attempt at arrest on the spot is made, but the culprits are picked up some weeks later.

While it is understandable that the police want to avoid injury to themselves if possible, it does not come across well to see them standing by as people's property is destroyed in front of them.
