Totally understand that the club won’t knee jerk and spend big on players that don’t improve us, biggest frustration for me is that we knew all of this end of last season and up to now haven’t dealt with it. Feels like we’re always late to deal with the obvious, original poster has nailed it and if we don’t recruit in these areas we have another bottom half season to look forward too.

This was based on the manager we have, his growing influence on this team and the players I hope he will attract in the summer with some money to spend. Its gonna be new territory form NP as far as were concerned, FFP pressures should have eased, and I expect there to be a real buzz about the place. Even better if we can end this season and get that top 10 this year. Feels like we are slowly getting the balance of academy, young hungry players and experience about right. Bring it on !

Expectation levels both from the club and fans next season are likely to be off the scale, rightly so with the progress being made.

The fact is that the cup debacle to one side, we have performed well against the best in this division and gotten very little for it. The potential even with this small squad in clearly there, lots to play for still. That being said new CB and CM in January would really help, perhaps even a WB that can cross.
