And that tells you everything about our recruitment strategy at that point, 2.5m, Pearson’s biggest outlay is half of that so far on a single player.

Here, i would say it was fairly clear that LJ didn’t want Wells and that was an Ashton signing, kudos to Pearson tbf for getting the best out of Nahki.

I’m not actually sure what your disagreeing with me about - All or LJs best players got sold, including Webster. I don’t think it’s an excuse, it’s a fact. The club is where it is now due to the horrific recruitment and wages offered from 2018 onwards.

Fairly sure the owners 29 year old son is in charge of recruiting players at Hibs!! God knows what credentials he has for that role, when will clubs (ours included) start to look at this area as where they are failing rather than the manager all the time. easy to slag LJ off here but he had to sell every single one of his best players off.

You missed a 1/3 of the game and have been anti NP from the beginning so will take all this with a pinch of salt anyway. We were solid last night whilst playing much better and should have had 3pts comfortably. The agent stuff was weird though - will agree with you there

Did you watch the game? We were comfortably the better side and pleasing to see a good reaction after the West Brom game. The only disappointing thing for me was we didnt come away with the 3pts we deserved

I think we were value for the 3 points, Milwall will be the happier with that point

These are the games that are haunting us, should be ahead in this game and comfortably been the better side, however we have not taken our very good chances

I’ve seen nothing from Williams to suggest he’s anything more than an average L1 player, I’ve been very disappointed. That group of players are now about to get their 3rd manager the sack - when does the realisation set in that even though they are highly paid they just ain’t good enough or got the right attitude that NP alludes too

About 10th highest which this year includes wages for Bentley, Kalas, Palmer, JD, Wells, none of those bought here by NP and 1 started yesterday who’s just agreed a new contract on presumably lower money. We agree on the midfield, it’s a disaster area.

We could be 10pts adrift with another manager, we’re just very inconsistent, we have a midfield that, imo, bar Scott if you count him as a midfielder, not a single one would get in to any team In this division. They dont create and they don’t protect. Change the manager all you want but imo not much will change as the players ain’t good enough overall, especially in our midfied What i will say if they are considering sacking NP, and I’m sure they are, then do it now and give the new bloke whatever budget there is to spend. No point waiting until end Of Jan to do it
