If a horse really didn’t want to jump a fence it wouldn’t, it refuses, as seen yesterday when a jockey went flying over a fence as the horse didn’t fancy it.

Some interesting points for and against. i do wonder how far these protesters will go, will they protest outside people’s homes that keep rabbits and hamsters in cruel cages? Should humans be banned from keeping dogs seeing as there’s 1000s abandoned and neglected every year? I don’t see protesters on busy roads protesting against cat owners who think it’s fine keep one as a pet near a busy road. What about people who keep fish and can’t keep them alive in their tanks? How far do you go?

It kind of fits in to what NP was saying about it’s all good bringing through the kids which is great, but you also need a few solid experienced pros who are established at the level. He would certainly tick that box.

I’ve said it many times but i always thought JB had everything at this level to be a decent central midfielder, 2 good feet, can tackle, can shoot, decent passer and has an engine. I’d play him in that position personally.

Very difficult to compare eras, the Jimmy Greaves, etc back in the day would last about 10 mins in todays game as wouldnt be fit enough, so many variables to consider when saying who the best is.

I’ve always disagreed with this - if sky TV are prepared to pay 10m a game then the players who generate that money are entitled to their wages. My issue is clubs like ours paying 25k a week for players without the money being generated. How much is Flint, Bannan etc on in l1?
