Agree - thought the change to 4 upfront was odd with Semenyo seemingly on the right when he had already had a couple of good runs at there centre backs. I recently got a parking fine (which was my fault) as i used an app and was on autopilot and paid £10 for my car (which was at home) and not the one we were in which was my wifes. i emailed Dorset CC and explained what I’d done with proof of both the cars i own and that it had just been a genuine mistake buy i had paid for a parking spot. They have said that basically it’s tough, and that pay and display tickets are non transferable so cough up, which i will Tomorrow Now it’s pissed me off as it’s a genuine mistake rather than forgetting to pay etc, the question i have is, do i have any grounds to get the £10 back that i paid, for the car that never entered that car park? ps - i understand that this is petty but **** em

That referee should be forced to come out and explain himself for that decision - i can just about understand the West Ham one but there’s absolutely no excuse for the Newcastle decision and you can 100% understand why people think referees are corrupt

Thing is you could only have one review a game otherwise you would just review every goal and 9/10 dependent on how far you go back there will more than likely be something that’s not been picked up. I’m not a big fan of VAR, if they can get a system like goal line technology that works for offsides then great but leave the rest to the ref on the pitch.

I keep seeing this….let me put the record straight. I sit with them both within a big group, yes they are both well informed and know what they are talking about when it comes to City’s inner workings, but to say they have lost objectivity is completely wrong. I myself disagreed with them about the penalty decision at Hull and there was a long chat about it in the stands, but they are entitled to an opinion, that doesn’t mean they hate NP because they liked Macca and LJ. 90% of things we all agree on, 10% we don’t - that’s football.

I for one can’t see what the issue is with with what’s been written, it’s all fact. We are still conceding daft goals and it’s frustrating, that’s surley allowed to be said? Nigel Pearson will be thinking exactly the same - I’ve not watched the game but I’m told we should have been 2 goals to the good, we’re improving but clearly still work to be done which I’m sure the management team are well aware of.
