I hope the club empathize with the situation we are in and for those who may ask for refunds, they are not treated unfairly by the club and lose their season ticket holder status.
Of all the things going on at the moment, this one is a key indicator of how the Lansdowns view their relationship with the fans.
I don't really think customer service is a top priority for the Lansdowns they've got the money so tough you know what

Some updates on this- lifted from another forum I saw it on but won't plagarise etc- Malcolm Clarke of FSA posts on it, presumably he is a fan of that club and he is the poster.
Couple of relevant documents.
Certainly not read them myself but pulled out some of the salient points from the post on the other forum.
- Fans given an arrival time would be likely, eta up to 3 hours before kick off.
- 20-40% capacity- fans in a single household or bubble not expected to have seats between. As one of the more modern and redeveloped grounds we would have more scope to maybe be towards the higher end of that estimate?
- Recording of names and contact details-that combined with the arrival slots being staggered, seems could be like an airport, you miss your slot not coming in. Mentions random temperature checks too as a possibility. For Test and Trace purposes, name and contact detail aspect.
- Again mentions the idea of the relaxation of the alcohol rule- I think that is an issue because alcohol in grounds during times of circulation of Covid don't mix IMO. Otherwise if not for Covid it feels long overdue!
There's some other stuff too, EFL have encouraged clubs to engage correctly with fans on this- especially local fan groups.
The other update, is that the Test Event at Community Shield
likelyscratch that, definitely won't be happening.Seen halftime closure of toilets mentioned elsewhere in recent days.
I think I would rather watch Jeff Stelling on soccer Saturday than go to a game with those restrictions if that's the future count me out

They seem to have an idea of the way they are going signings early and ready for pre season whereas Mr Red cheeks just over 1 month till the season starts hasn't got a clue what to do

Oh come on, we had barely any of our first choice XI playing - no Stokes, Root, Butler, Plunkett, Woakes, Wood or Archer
We beat them comfortably in the other two games
This was there second side as well and the other two games could have gone there way we have laboured all series very poor

What an embarrasment England beaten by Ireland and lucky to not lose the series more than England's match

Women on sky just said Broad hit 1 six and 4 nines I'd like to see that

If they’re offering that of course. Cardiff are not.
Don't see how they can't offer refund if you can't go when you want if you have a season ticket

Refund for me I will probably watch local non league instead

Never mind having already renewed for next season I would expect a full refund, as I doubt anybody will be allowed into games for a long time yet

How do the club go about refunding people for the 5 remaining games that won't happen this season
-
Watching football at stadiums could be something that may not happen for a long time due to the rules with social distancing may even be a couple of years who knows

Does it have to be the same player each week, or can it change match to match so we can all criticise the selection and throwing style? Ha
Don't pick Nathan Baker couldn't see him staying fit to roll the dice 9 times
-
That would mean a refund on season tickets for games missed how would they be able to do this
-
This season will just not matter (unless your in a position where you go up or down) I really think it should be cancelled and as soon as the PL EFL do it the better. Now the club's are offering money to any cause going makes you realise this season should be erased

Yes, true.
I’m not sure how they stand. I think they probably get 80% of an average pay cheque though. Similar to self employed people who get 80% of a 3 year average (capped) as their income/profit fluctuates according to workload. No they get 80% of basic commission and bonuses not included

You seem bitter about your own situation (or bitter on behalf of others) and seem to want footballers to make a sacrifice that won't benefit you.
Unless I am reading your messages incorrectly, in which case, I apologise.
No im not bitter i was only trying to say that some people will not be affected where as others will have little income

And what about the younger footballers who might be on £500 a week?
£500 a week if they take a cut in wages welcome to what is happening to a lot of people not everyone can work from home and are on full pay they are the lucky ones

But everyone else isn't suffering.
I am able to work from home, on full pay.
Appreciate that life must be really rough if you aren't in that position and hopefully the measures put in place go some way towards helping.
Footballers do not work from home so why should they be on full pay

People don’t like being told what to do I guess, especially by the Government, even if it is for their own good.

You're right, of course, but this is a football forum after all, so makes sense to debate the football season.
The somewhat biased panel on the Sunday Supplement on Sky commented that when we are all in lockdown and panicked, football could be exactly the distraction that people need.
They would though because that's provided them a living for people who have no love of football they would say different

Mr Lansdown will probably celebrate with a large glass of red to match his cheeks
