It’s not that the problem of low stock is just arising now with the wider distributor issue, it was that certain lines in popular sizes were sold out pretty much immediately and never restocked anyway! Ordering stock based on what was sold last year isn’t the answer when the same thing has been happening year in year out. It just means that the same mistakes just get repeated!

Completely agree. Apparently for H&S, but that ignores the fact that at the concerts all the lights were off, apart from the stage. It’s particularly annoying that the stand lighting is directed into the eyes of supporters, either from the roof or from across the pitch, which has often brought on headaches / migraines in me. It was never a problem pre-redevelopment. Quite why the strip lighting in the Dolman was suddenly considered inadequate beggars belief. If I go to a show, cinema or football (at night) I want to be in darkness and the focus on the performance in front of me. Shame that experience is now gone at AG.

Listening to Gould it sounds like Nige won’t be back for a while. Would getting Warnock in as a temporary caretaker for say 10 games be such a bad idea? Don’t like him or his style of play much, but I can see him giving us some dead cat bounce and a bit of a pick up. I also think he would get us at least 10 points over such a period and would take the appointment on that basis. I can’t say I’m confident of us getting that many points with the current rudderless ship. There has been a precedent of City appointing a caretaker when needed - the women getting in Beard to cover the maternity leave on a short term basis.
