Massengo is skillful as hell. A real joy to watch, and has the tenacity to go with it
Derby's defence look terrified with the ball at their feet

I'm not sure what sort of footballer Bakinson wants to be. He's sitting deep in midfield but is too slow/scared/apprehensive to chase the ball down and challenge. He looks lost

That Alex Scott is good isn't he

Yeah he is what you describe but also Williams and James are in that position too. I think Massengo could offer more in beating players in the final third or out wide. Or other options could be Williams wide right with Massengo alongside James. Or play all 3 in a different system of 4141/433. But I think Nige wants to ideally play 2 up top.
What a dilemma... A nice one, but still tricky to work out! Can Williams play wide right? I've no idea tbh

Maybe just me, but Massengo I think would be wasted wide right or in an attacking midfield role.
I see him as a disruptor and a tackler in the midfield without the ball, and someone who helps retain possession and keep things moving when we do have it

Not great defensively, but must admit I find him a good crosser of the ball, and some of his long passes can be quite accurate. He's more like a quarterback than a defender

Pring and Massengo both very good tonight
Bentley seriously needs to cut these mistakes out. It undoes all the good work he does elsewhere
Chris Martin was absent. Guy needs to be played sporadically I think.
Dasilva played well when he came on, a real talent

I live in Swindon and can assure you most of their fans don't give a second thought about City or their fans. Think they have bigger things to worry about tbh

I wouldn't necessarily agree with the second sentence RF but wholeheartedly agree with the first one, it's just too great a risk, particularly at present when the 2nd wave is happening.
as someone that's had CV19, albeit I got off relatively lightly, I wouldn't dream of heading back to the Gate until it's safe.
Take it from me, even 'relatively lightly' is horrific! Imagine not being able to even walk up a flight of stairs as you can't breathe, that was mild, it's genuinely scary as hell so I would, personally, always err on the side of caution where this dreadful thing is concerned. 8 weeks later and it still effects me at times.
No offence to anyone, obviously, but I can't sign the petition, yet.
People want to return to football because they believe that their right to watch live football supercedes that of the health of other people.
So I do believe they are selfish yes. And if they are not selfish then they are just incredibly ignorant.
Hope you make a full and good recovery in time

No football ground is opening until a proper vaccine is in place and rolled out to the most vulnerable people in our society
Anyone who wants football grounds open before then is either thick as shit or just selfish, or perhaps both.

I don't have an issue with the phased approach of the move towards lockdown. But I have felt all along the government were too slow to get started and would have protected more people had they looked at what was going on and acted quickly. There was that pointless business as usual phase.
Completely agree. Everything that is happening now should have happened 2 to 3 weeks ago at least.
We had a pre-warning from China and Italy on what was to come, and instead we pretended that nothing might happen to the UK and it should be "business as normal" . Idiotic.
People are praising BJ for doing the right thing. But in my opinion he did the right thing but far far too late. He was reactive not proactive.

First 20 don't think he touched the ball.
Second 25 probably the best individual performance I've seen in years. Unreal talent.
I missed the first 15 minutes so your comment now makes perfect sense!

Leiko doesn't really seem to know what he's doing, never seems to be on the wing when we're attacking
You have got to be kidding me

You can see the style of football we are trying to play in attack, one/two touches in triangles in the middle, along with a fast pressing game in defence . I think it's all really encouraging. chill everyone

Bobby Reid is a revelation. The lynchpin in some of our one touch triangle passing.

Can't work out why loads of city fans are obsessed with rovers.
Er...they are our rivals and have been for the last 100 or so years
Am I seriously explaining this to a fellow Bristol City fan? I'm going back to bed

Euphoria. What a game
Loved the concrete floor bending when the city fans were bouncing! Great noise from our lot
Reid only takes two touches. One to control, and then the pass. Good stuff

Tomlin sounds like just what we need

Kodger can't finish

Real shame. Would have loved to have seen JET doing his stuff on the big stage
Agard and his "engine" and "work rate" is not quite as exciting

Orient looked alright actually. They could play a bit when they wanted to.
Freeman was a different class though. A joy to watch. Good noise from the City fans too. Redzzz

Semenyo looks threatening
Lots of energy and will to win the ball back
Great pen save from Bentley
Negatives though are the wing backs, and the passing from the back, in particular Atkinson and Vyner. Too much hoofball.
Terriers actually look a pretty tidy team. Always looking to pass and play
