I understand they closed the tobacco factory because West Ham fans were in there “singing”.
Bit childish in my opinion. Nowt wrong with singing.

Re other pubs. I understand there was an incident at the Rising Sun involving the doorman. You can guess who came out on top there 🤣

Plus an incident by Spanish Bar. I believe a few Hammers got a bit of a whacking, even after they had it on their toes.
I did hear the comment “you’d think they’d be better at running away since they play at an athletics track” 🤣

I was in the tobacco factory, nothing but a bit of singing, everyone in there was in a good mood. They stopped serving until they had stopped singing. Pointless really

Interesting, I hadn't thought of that... I wonder if they will go with one at either end like Forwards, or two next to each other so there is basically no gaps between sets.

Back to back on the centre line is my guess

It was never going to be easy with them desperate for a result and us always struggling against them, but that was disappointing.  Just not up to recent levels and they worked really hard to close us down while keeping men back and not over committing.

What made it worse , I watched it on a Firestick that only show the team we are playing's feed

Maybe 6s or 7s where recently it's been 7s or 8s and tonight we had no real penetration into the final 3rd.
With Brum sitting a little , TGH & Williams coming deeper to get the ball we didn't find the pockets as well as we have done.  Still , a point on the road and if we can get 3 v Millwall I'll be more than happy with this run.
We do need to find a way to beat teams that aren't as ambitious as the likes of Sunderland etc.  Without being great I thought we were ok first half, probed and prodded , created a couple of chances and could have been a goal or up. 2nd half , until later when the game opened up a little, I though we were a bit pedestrian . Never caused enough problems and didn't switch play quickly or well enough.
No shots on target tells a tale , but there we more signs of getting nearer the possession side that Manning wants. I said February to see how we have progressed under Manning and I think we may have games like this in the mean time.

I watched the same feed and was quite surprised how complimentary the commentators were about us.

Not sure if they own the Wedlock’s site, but I do know that the abandoned toilets next door are owned, strangely enough, by the Highways Agency!!

Quite what they want with it I’ll never know. But might explain why nothing is being done with it as there probably just holding onto it in the hope of making a profit.

As I work with National Highways, I'd be amazed if they know its theirs!!

Shall be watching from behind the sofa I really do fear the worst , think I might be watching strictly by half time

My wife is kindly driving me to a pub and being taxi for the night, so, win or lose I will be taking full advantage. These opportunities don't come very often so in my mind I'm winning anyway 😂

Try on HT killed it as a contest .

    Argentina out on their feet

I hope it's not this bad tomorrow but I fear it will be. The two quarter finals last week that were so good should have been the semis

I would rather France win than South Africa tonight because our record vs the Springboks is generally pretty poor.

Agreed, I fancy our chances more against the French than the springboks. The pressure will be all on France in the semi, and they have a habit of self imploding
