The Fewers have a thread about what City players they have previously admired, and in the name of self distancing solidarity, I will offer up a name of one of theirs.

    Barry Hayles.

I know Ward was interested in buying him but was deemed as a non starter (we got Soren Anderson and Tony Thorpe instead - as told to me by Scott Davidson) but what former Fewers would you have been delighted with?

    The crap people scaremongering with.

I have no doubt the military's going to be involved at some point.. but not driving yank hummers on the wrong side of the road

Yes, being ex Army I know its bullcrap just thought it slightly amusing amongst all the sad news we are dealing with at the moment. My apologies.

    Yes.

Having been out and about all week it has to happen unfortunately as panic buying is going to get worse and also I have to say some of the older generation are ignoring the advice. The amount of 80+ year olds I've seen out and about is crazy. Ones that clearly have other health issues too and some even coughing and spluttering.

Army will be involved too I reckon. Brace yourselves.

True, although Stade Francais certainly aren't the team they were and lie bottom of the Top 14.

Bristol in with a great chance of securing a home QF in this competition.

The final is in Marseille on May 22nd

Can't afford that AND Twickenham the following month?

Strong XV. Mads must be starting to feel like this guy

I think Mads will be gone next season, hes in the last year of his contract. It will free up some more wages. I'm certainly excited at the potential of our 10's at the moment, just have to keep the WRU off young Ioan.

They are only 3 points off of 3rd, so I don’t think you can read too much into it.

Yep they were poor, but I thought we nullified them excellently defensively. The referee helped slightly as well!

??You're right, i didnt read it at all??. However, there are signs this season that we are looking up rather than down.

What a win tonight, Brive isn’t the easiest place to go (they’ve beaten Clermont, Toulon, Toulouse and Bordeaux at home this season...) so to go and win 36-0 is incredible!

    Up the European Bears!

I just had a look at the Top 14 table and saw that Brive sit 3rd from bottom, which seeing as they have beaten the teams you say they have surprises me. Although they weren't very good tonight. That takes nothing away from our performance though. ?

Teams for tomorrow, Exeter are the only side in the league to bring their internationals straight back in, shows how much respect they have for Bristol I guess.

Going to be a really tough match, but no reason why we can’t come away with 4/5 points

To come away from Exeter with anything would be good?

Would imagine it’s a kit reveal, and announcement of Morahan signing a new deal together with maybe a couple of other renewals.

the way they’ve phrased the hashtag seems to rule out it being new signings. Hopefully I’m wrong though and it will be #announcegengey later!

7 contract announcements and 2 kit reveals. Could be renewals, could be new signings. My bets are on renewals

    It's on BT!

Going to be a great night, hopefully with a Bristol win...

Ooops that's right, Sky was last year. I think we will have the momentum from last year and the home crowd to turn them over. They have quite a few injuries in their backs, if the England injury list is to be believed.

Really looking forward to it, should be a great atmosphere if nothing else.
