Absolutely loved that. Some real hard work in there. Rode our luck at times. But reaped the rewards. Nice.

Just tried to look them up, sounds like our pitches are similar just different companies .
They just can't get over not beating all these Championship sides they come up against, should be smashing the midtable teams. Absolutely deluded , entitled and arrogant , we deserve to be in the Prem whiners . I hope Leeds and Leicester get top 2 and Southampton miss out all together. Be good if they stayed long enough to lose the PP too, then they'd realise they are in the Championship. This is the impression I got of them when I lived down in Hampshire.

Must admit, it was a very nostalgic experience for me; sat in a pub with my phone clamped to my ear, Radio 5 Live blaring out like some transistor radio from yesteryear.

For anyone who hasn't heard it, the OSIB 'cider with' Jonathan Pearce is incredible. Never heard someone talk so emotionally about a football club. He basically grew up around the club, knew the players and even went to away games on the team coach. He talks about Gerry Gow like he was a member of his family.
I've run out of likes this morning, but just wanted to second this. It was a fabulous listen.

Think Hull are nailed on play offs , very good side
I went to the 1-1 at the MKM earlier in the season and was also very impressed. Not surprised they are where they are.

Good win. One of our family members, a lifelong City fan, sadly passed away a couple of days ago. I’m so glad the boys could do him proud tonight.

My sons first league game away following city.
Not sure whether to drive or get the train.
What's it like for parking by the away end and is it far from the station?
Are there pies any good?
Thanks in advance for any info
As others have alluded to, parking isn't great if you don't do your homework beforehand.
Last season, I got very lucky and found a space on Old Leeds Rd, but was worried I was going to get a ticket as the markings and signs weren't clear at all.

Does the "cht" part at the end not depend on the region of Germany you're in as to whether it is a hard or soft pronunciation?
Lived in Austria for a bit. His surname is Lieberknecht pronounced a bit like “Lee-burr-k-nekt”. The last bit “knecht” can be quite hard to pronounce for English speakers as we don’t really have words where we pronounce a k next to n, nor do we generally have the “ch” sound (which is a bit like the “ch” in “Loch”).
Maybe ask Andi Weimann to say it, next time you see him.

Wow. Just wow!

Well, that was an enjoyable one. Nearly home. Safe travels fellow Reds.

So I called Hull ticket office, they said they can be purchased from the ticket office once the coach arrives with the unsold tickets
I did query it not being pay on the day but they said that's not a problem - I guess because there's quite a few unsold?
Fingers crossed, I’ll be collecting my tickets from the office in the East Stand.

Hop & Vine (24 Albion St, Hull HU1 3TG) is a decent pub if you like your real ales and ciders.

Funnily enough, I was on a rare visit to Bristol this weekend. Spotted 5 x City shirts, 1 x Rovers and the odd PL club, as I was out and about in the city centre. I was pleasantly surprised.
