I just believe that Manning is being criticised by a lot of posters, when more patience needs to be shown? My assessment of him will come in March/April. You don't have to blindly accept anything? , but i try to support my team whoever the manager is? Of course there are no guarantees of success, what ever you or anyone else thinks of NP, we were 15th in the table when he left. I thought NP did a great job in clearing out the deadwood and sorting out our finances, and i would have been happy for him to stay. But he is not coming back, so i will give LM a chance, and not constantly moan about things....and personally i believe that after 13 games, it is too early to judge. Instead of constantly criticising, I prefer to watch some great football, like last Tuesday, and give the guy a chance?

If i knew what brought long term football success i would be manager of Manchester City? Of course there are no guarantees, but LM is attempting to bring long term success with his approach and tactics, whether he succeeds, we will have to see? If you have not seen any difference in our set up approach, and tactics since Manning came in, and took over from NP then I Am not sure what you have been watching. As regards overhaul, until there is a summer window.....he can't really overhaul our playing staff yet?

Our system, tactics and style of play are being overhauled for long term success, LM cannot just snap his fingers and change our whole approach of playing overnight?. It needs some time and patience. The constant comparisons between a manager who had a number of windows to recruit and one who has hardly had one is irrational. NP was a great bloke who was poorly treated........but he's gone.

Some posters on here should apply for the UK Moaning Olympic Squad. So much negativity and blind criticism. It is sad, from people who call themselves "Supporters"? 13 games compared to Two and a Half years? I liked NP, but we have a new manager now, who needs our backing, instead of people setting up their own agendas as to why everything is a terrible failure. Patience young Jedi's, give it some time? 13 Games is No time at all..... and far too soon for so much defeatism.

I went to all 3 of those games, and myself and my mates all thought that Steve Claridge was outstanding for them, and we all thought he would make a brilliant signing for us.............wonder whatever happened to him? Hmmmm?

Personally it seems like a good idea to me..............Projects? Neither TGH OR Mehmeti came from the academy, they were both purchased. I don't want to see Bell's opportunities blocked, but he is not exactly flyimg at the moment, but he is young and will hopefully come good again. Competition for places is what drives a club and individual players forward......if your good enough you will retain your place, if your complacent you won't, cannot see any problem with that?

If there is no one from the Academy capable of stepping up this season as a playmaker, then it is not a case of blocking, but a smart bit of business to hopefully revive our season? I am certain that if ST proves to be a success, we have contingency plans to recruit him..............Looks like Win, Win to me.

Sorry but i find that that a little simplistic and glib? FFP is by no means a perfect model, and it needs to be refined and reviewed, as i do not believe it is achieving it's aims. Everton are being hung out to dry, but theyr'e ; other clubs sailing very close to the wind. I think FFP is failing in it's objectives and needs to be totally overhauled. "Suck it up"? Really??

Similar to VAR .............FFP is a complete farce, punishing on occasions the wrong clubs while ignoring other's who are slipping through the cracks with clever financial manoeuvre's . I am not saying Everton are an innocent party, but I believe that FFP is not the level playing field it purports to be?

It is round about the 10th Anniversary of when Chelsea sold probably the best midfielder to have ever graced the Premiership, for 18 Mill to Wolfsburg? All that money and all those experts, and they let him slip through their fingers for pretty much a pittance in relation to his talent. Poor olde Chelsea........Ha!!

According to Tommy, and i am not having a go at him, because he is young man doing his best. But when i hear him say....that he is learning all the time, and it's getting better and better , and he is apparently going from strength to strength? It is just not true, and it is not doing TC any favours, and as far as going from strength to strength, it is most definitely NOT playing to his strengths............ and for me it is just not working.

Tommy stated on the club's seemingly party line 3Peaps podcast that he was learning all the time from the new manager, and loves his solo striker role in the team. .........really TC? Pretty sure you will be off in the summer anyway, so perhaps making waves is not a good idea? OK, he might be grateful to be learning some new strings to his bow, and the art of being a lone striker might pay off later in his career, but at the moment it is not serving his present club very well IMHO? The one up top striker role is just not working, and whatever Tommy and LM may come out with, just does not convince. As can be seen from our goals record against Birmingham, Millwall and Preston being a big fat zero.

Do you think he might have already signed the obligatory Bournemouth pre- contract....seeing as we are their feeder club?
