The odd mistake by HNM is no bad thing IMHO (Not that he is entirely to blame for 2nd goal, Dasilva should have clipped it forward, and Williams tackle was lame) as he is till a young lad, with loads of talent, prone to the occasional error? I am hopeful that potential suitors will look at him as a work in progress, and will hold back with large bids until they see him continue to play Championship football, and show consistency? I in no way mean this in any disparaging way, and fully respect the sacrifice of the Ashton Gate 8....but I was unaware until researching the proceedings that took place, that 5 of the 8 were 30 plus, Gerry Sweeney being 37 and Trevor Tainton was 34. The average age was 31, it just surprised me that other than Marshall and Aitken, they were all nearing the end of their careers? Not that that detracts in any way from the validity of their contracts, but it just emphasise's the recklessness of the board in handing out contracts that were on occasion far too long? ie Clive Whitehead..........11 years?

I really hope he stays, and you never know.............if Webster or Kelly should move for big money in the summer, a windfall could come our way without any need to cash in on our young talent? Here's hoping?

Why is everyone on here obsessed with him going? I am aware that he is a special talent, but as soon as we unearth a quality player, all anyone want to talk about is how much he will fetch? I can see him staying next season, and then possibly/probably leaving? He seems a really level headed and modest guy, who I cannot see having his head turned by the promises of the riches available, and I think he will leave when he feels the time is right? Can we enjoy his talent while he is here, rather than constantly attaching a price tag to his shirt?
