It’s beyond my comprehension, you build something so dominant- designer and driver, then one of those benefiting decides to absolutely destroy it. There must be a strategy behind this, but I just see what it is yet.

Which makes the current speculation that Max will be at Mercedes for 2025 a bit mad, unless Newey goes there as well.

Pretty irrelevant if Vettel was strong with an illegal car. F1 has always had periods of dominance by a team/driver, probably the financial cap has made this more exaggerated, as teams can’t put the resource they would have in the past into closing the gap.

I don’t understand why it’s sadly down to set ups, that’s part of the formula, there are other races where all the cars are the same, but that’s not the point of F1. 5 years ago, very similar result in domination and times, different manufacturer and Drivers. I didn’t hear too many moaning back then.

What, when Hamilton dominated for a spell, it’s been cyclical for quite a while now.

If it was a one off accusation (one incident) then why would it take long to investigate?

As we don’t know any details, why is it shocking, independent barrister led this, maybe there was no case to answer? Not every accusation made is genuine or valid, if it were why have any sort of legal system at all.

No, far from it, I am the most pessimistic person you could ever meet, but it would be good to have games that even if we lose, there are comments praising the performance of the team and manager, rather than bemoaning the performance ( and that’s not critical of some of the bemoaning, as after some games it’s been deserved).

I said in the match day thread that’s the best we’ve played for a long time, if we can build on that and gain some confidence, the season could end on a high compared with the inconsistency we’ve seen so far.

I’m not so sure, there does seem to be plenty of illiteracy in this country, quite comical sometimes when you see some SM posts moaning about foreigners and the person posting cannot communicate correctly in their own language.

Along with the bellends that can't read or tell the time and drive like the bus lanes on the A37 in Knowle (both directions) are 24 hours - should have their licences taken away.....

One Thursday morning, I woke up in a strange bed (as you say, not unusual after a TT night) feeling a bit rough from the previous evenings soirée at the Towns Talk, the young lady in the bed next to me was awake and then a small child came into the room and asked “Is that my next Daddy”. I’ve never got dressed and exited a house so fast, had no idea where I was and after a couple of minutes walking I realised I was in deepest Withywood and faced the morning trudge home to Southville without even a coffee to aid my way.

Rumour seems to be that the RB20 is almost identical to the RB19, so if any other team has made big developments, it may not be dominant.

Black Pepper is pretty good as well. If it’s the same guy running Indian Cottage as the last time I was there, he used to work in Blue Ginger (Gilda) when the brothers who own Golden Moments in Saltford owned it and Blue Ginger was very good then, so he learnt a lot from them.

Those two seats, one at Red Bull (Perez is never going to be there in 2025) and Mercedes are big seats to fill.

With the advent of Formula E and with F1 looking to synthetic fuels, I'd like to see a return to proper engines (big V's) and get rid of batteries and KERS.
