We truly are kindred spirits.... maybe some of those who have no wish to see them crumble to dust and blow away, weren't around in 82, when we thought we were losing our club, when there were collections on paydays ( Thursdays, as we were all mostly weekly paid back then) in pubs to raise funds, when people bought shares and rallied round. Whilst the vitriolic glee that those bastards showed, they circled like vultures, just waiting to feast on the carcass, they can **** off and die and the sooner the better. Detest isn't a strong enough word to help express my contempt for them.

We can but hope.......

Hmm, choice of moving closer to work, work with a Premiership club that you claim to have a great affinity with, or leave and join one of the most raggy arsed, down to the bare bones division 3 clubs, with a tented, comedy ground, an owner that has had his purse strings drawn tight by his family and unless there is a secret and espensive plan with backing, nothing much looks like changing. Allied to that glowing LinkedIn profile, something doesn't add up.

Not many of the pundits and ex players complaining about the declaration, dropped catches and bowlers having an off day put the mockers on winning it, I hope it doesn't deter him from being positive in future, it was better for cricket that the match didn't fade out into a boring draw, curtailed by bad light (I reckon they might have been off for the light, had it not been for the situation).

The pink ball is different than the red Duke. It has to have a coating on it, so it won't shine on one side like a red ball, which is just dyed. Not being able to shine one side was giving speculation that the ball wouldn't swing, but I think Anderson could make Mary Whitehouse swing........

Seems a bit odd, I can't see there being a brilliant business case for it and if you are a City fan, then why? Unless it's some sort of tax fiddle or government scheme, sponsoring run down, shambolic clubs.........

You bloody teasers...... what, I have been waiting since 1982 to see them fold and disappear, do I have to wait much longer? Imagine them gone and how in a few years that would benefit City, no way would I expect any diehards to come over, but as time passes, if there was genuinely one team in Bristol......... oh stop, I can't think about it anymore

I can't get my head round why, unless it was for nefarious means, you'd put a clause like that in. If a company is bankrupted, surely every effort to maximise the sale of assets should be made, to pay off creditors.

I am just hoping, sat here in agitated anticipation, that they are on the verge of financial ruin - Karma, bloody brilliant Karma, for all the 82 shite they have spouted, for the vitriolic wishes that we went under in 82, for the attempted stadium heist, for the fact that they are the window lickers of Bristol football, for the pure joy seeing them fold. Anyone who used the Hen & Chicken back in the 80's might remember a Glaswegian barmaid, she was great, she was RAF, but she was sound, and her favourite phrase was "f**off and die" how appropriate that now seems to the sad sags........

You do seem to have more than your fair share of window lickers, the ESN teachers in East Bristol must be the busiest in the country......

Sadly, whilst I'd love to take the high ground here and slate them and them alone, I have worked plenty of trains after football matches and they are generally unpleasant journeys, no matter what clubs fans are involved, that said, the behaviour of some of those returning from the Henley Regatta isn't much better, they just have blazers and old school ties on...... And one of the worst was Cardiff University travelling to Swansea for an inter university match, mostly fare evading and they set fire to one of the carriages.

Who cares........ The only news I want is that they are bust, gone, cease to exist, lovely retribution for the horrible bile and pure glee many of them expressed in 82.

It all depends on your perspective, if you are relating "in the near future", to the beginning of time, then maybe in a few millennia they'll get their new stadium. If you take it as the next year or two, then it does appear to be drug fuelled thinking.....

Managed to get out of work a bit early today, great few hours watching this England bounce back after the last test.

He's claiming it's not money, he's found god now and is taking a chaplaincy course, but wants it as closure. Collins has said it's for the money, he wants to buy more land for his horses - refreshing honesty. I'm sure I heard on R5 today that Eubank was approached, but he turned it down.

I would have put her closer to a post op Peter Crouch, rather than Teddy Sheringham.
