Grasping for any thin hope, but the Derby players were suffering cramps on Wednesday, during extra time at Leicester. Might prove to be a factor in our favour, perhaps?

Ugly ugly game.
In fairness, Warnock got the best out of his team, and we allowed ourselves to get dragged down to a niggly battle. First goal crucial, as it gave them something to hang on to. Cardiff worked their socks off, but little quality. We looked really poor for long parts - whatever that was it was not a game of football.
That's the word of the night.
Cardiff.. ugly city, ugly club, ugly fans and mostly ugly players too with an ugly manager's tactics... but those tactics and that effort they put in, worked tonight.
So on to the next ... COYR

I understand the reason for bringing on Wilbraham to support Abraham, and taking off Pack for a more attacking midfielder in Reid. No problems there.
But, Freeman's game was fading as Patterson's game was improving (although the threat of being substituted may bring that on).
That's the substitution I found to be a bit puzzling.

A stream link would be nice. Thanks if someone knows.
try footballstreaming(dot)info
They have a list of links there (which have streams bombarded with dreadful pop-up adverts) but I'll be watching at the pub
If Gills score early it could be get interesting. A goal for us and its probably all over?

The decision to change the fixture date is 100% acceptable, considering the circumstances (an extra day's rest for the team matches our rival's rest period), but that is NOT what is at question here.
The timing, to change the date, is terrible for both Notts County and Bristol City supporters who have made arrangements already in the weeks & months previous ... and that represents a serious own goal for us.
The article on the web site is not even an apology, let alone an attempt to console supporters of both clubs for the loss of their money for pre-booked hotels, trains & buses for a Saturday fixture.
Just awful by BCFC and shameful.

Team news anyone?
How about this: Carey better not be on the bench.
Fear not. He isn't.
He is in the starting XI

I've heard that an attention grabbing hobbit had the audacity to join our hard-working, sweat-breaking, winning players at the end of the Wigan game whilst grinning & clapping the City fans in the away end? Any truth?
Because at home, he would normally cup his ears at full time, turn left and sprint down the (now, thankfully much closer) tunnel, incoherently mumbling, 'Daddy, daddy. They are booing me again!'
