  1. Poor ol' Oxford United --- I don't wish extinction on any football club - even if they are the scummiest of the scummy-scum in all of scuminster aka Oxford United. Something is obviously going wrong there. Their home attendences of 3702 and 3978 (last 2 home games) can hardly be compared to your 11692/12859 ... So I think you should be able to get a few consortiums together. I think at this moment in time Oxford's problems are worse than yours though.
  2. Isn't it always the case. I think we'll recall him in January. See how he does. Either way Colchester would have to pay for him as his contract doesn't expire until 2007.
  3. Because he's not... Well, not for you lot anyway. You tell me that after all the "he's going to destroy this League" euphoria in the summer, how one good performance against MK Dons is worthy of sympathy, 2 managers (one credible) thought he wasn't starting XI material and a loan deal where he wants to stay at CARLISLE is not down to good performances at BCFC. Oh and he's gone from "Championship sides want me" to "I'm quite happy to stay at Carlisle". In the games I have seem him, he has been off the pace, at Bournemouth he was borderline useless. No player deserves respect if they can't stick it out at the club they committed themselves to because it's not going it your favour. Don't bog yourself down in denial, BCFC took a risk on an injury-prone striker, it could have paid off... I saw him during his Leeds days and he was awesome. It didn't pay off. He doesn't want to play for you, how can you stick up someone who says that?
  4. Because he wasn't good enough?
  5. Me being the one who openly slates Matt Heywood on OTIB on a regular basis. Yep, gutted he's gone.
  6. And THAT, my friend, is why you're struggling.
  7. Bristol City: Woodman - Merely as he doesn't appear to be getting into the Torquay United side. Swindon Town: Jamie Cureton - When he was playing.
  8. Yeah, why not. Grant Smith... Is he injured or one of the Johnson clear-outs. I bet in hindsight he regrets leaving us now.
  9. You can't let anyone go until January really surely?
  10. Reel Big Fish did support Sum 41 a couple of years back. Saw Trail of the Dead support Audioslave the other week and I have to say their dualing drum insrumental was a-w-e-s-o-m-e. In regards to your "all about fun"... that's exactly why the Reel Big Fish are my favourite band, I love The Who, Zep, Hendrix etc etc but sometimes you need a bit of fun! P.S. FAO Bucksred... I know Funeral for a Friend filled in for Finch at the last minute if that's what your referring to.
  11. Technically SOAD are a better band but I'm ALL about the Reel Big Fish... Been listening to them longer than any other band and am seeing them 5 times this year. Each to their own mate but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  12. I'm not a SOAD fan but there new album is very, very impressive.
  13. I'm suprised it took 60+ minutes for there to be a comment on the match! You've got the upper hand now... Barnsley can expect an onslaught
  14. Definately looked like he wanted it more than most... Took his opportunity of a turn out well.
  15. I notice they left Daniel Nardiello of Barnsely. He scored a good few last season didn't he?
  16. Couldn't disagree more. He'll never be a top scorer. That would be money wasted! P.S. Sam Parkin will be a "Swindle" player at the start of the season. Where he is at the end however
