  1. Warnock said he knew 2 weeks ago he was leaving Mboro, so plenty of time for them to speak to him.
  2. Was the 3 knockdown rule part of the fight. The bell may of saved Fury in rd 4 if it was.
  3. Glenn Whelan has been playing for Wythenshawe Amateurs in step 9 of the pyramid. He looks quite fit for watched him play against team I volunteer for Saturday. Was basically sitting in front of the back 4 and controlling the game. Didn’t do much just simple passes and lots of organising. Should be quite fit, really surprised he was playing at this level.
  4. Should our players be playing more cricket domestically instead of contracted and playing now and again. Must be hard to find form if you play now and again.
  5. Think he’s including children. Just over 50% of whole population had two jab. About 15 to 16 million will not be eligible which is roughly 22%. That then leads to the question what % needed for herd immunity or the 22% get it and we hope it starts to die out.
  6. Suspect we will hear eventually but only what they want us to hear. The test events seemed to be negative test before you go but voluntary testing after. So if no one goes for a test then positive rates will be low. Money talks and that will be the main leader. Found out today, that FA new Covid rules are if a player tests positive as long as rest of team don’t show symptoms then they are ok to play. which means games shouldn’t be called off very often if at all.
  7. Is it because every match carries points towards the ODI standings.
  8. That’s a debate for another topic. Getting to the stadium, mixing in concourses, mixing in the ground, use of toilets. 4 things that can be controlled for a start. Just because it’s outside doesn’t mean you won’t get bottlenecks etc. If you add the so called government pilot scheme which was prove your negative when you get in, but voluntarily test after and then we can say only so many tested positive when a small % actually got retested to make the figures look good. There are plenty of reasons why a small % is a good reason.
  9. Look at there infection rates compared to England’s and maybe they are doing the right thing. That is a discussion for another thread.
  10. Welsh government rules I am guessing.
  11. Seems like this may go on for a while yet regards a punishment. https://www.efl.com/news/2021/june/-derby-county/
  12. Can see England getting less than 200 only 2 NZ batters scored more than 30 so guessing not easy pitch to bat on.
  13. Vyner not up to speed? deflects it straight to Toney and then stands and watches. Just don’t think he’s good enough at CB Should of cleared it earlier we had enough chances?
  14. Is this one of the youngest midfields we have started with.
  15. But if there was no red flag all the cars were out of place any way and were allowed to race normally. It just seems a very silly rule and the top 6 who had been careful made no mistakes and kept there cars on the track had no advantage for doing it.
  16. Can’t believe Hamilton was a lap down and red flag goes so he can unlap himself. It seems a daft rule, he crashed and had to change his wing but due to an accident on track can get all the time back.
  17. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-56392670 Hopefully all goes well and crowds can return from these test events.
  18. Season can’t be extended for there are only 6 midweeks free for PL till end of season 4 CL games Fa cup semi and final team rearranged fixtures need fitting in. If Tottenham make Europa league final and FA cup final they may well have 2 play 2 PL games one midweek. Euros mid June all leagues must end by end of May.
  19. It takes at least 3 weeks for any effect on hospital admissions to come through. By giving each stage a 5 week gap you are making sure by opening another sector of economy and life you are not letting it get out of control. It has been mentioned a few times by government and scientists that come Autumn we may well have to have some kind of restrictions to keep it under control masks and social testing . 21st June will only happen if test events show no increase in hospital admissions and death rates. We have a vaccine and hopefully it will last 9 months or longer but if it is only good for 6 months then opening up can be stalled by a few weeks as we give people a booster it is all basically a big experiment that no one knows what the end result will be.
  20. Restrictions are to be looked at in June. There is no guarantee they will be fully lifted, that’s why in the roadmap it says potentially. There are trial events indoor and outside May, June to see what is possible. (Exhibitions, conferences, concerts to see if any spreading occurs when contact is close and numbers increase). Also have to remember that it has been mentioned that restrictions (masks and 2m) may be back Autumn depending on how virus reacts when flu season starts again.
  21. Could be because there is a crowd and if it was over in 3 days they may well need to refund money. Also whilst India are batting the crowd are happy.
  22. Bairstow is not in the India squad at present I believe for India.
  23. https://www.skysports.com/rugby-union/news/12321/12183202/coronavirus-french-sports-ministry-wants-games-against-british-clubs-postponed This could make the 6 nations and cup competitions a farce.
  24. But they aren’t strict When football returned at the Southampton friendly our players came in there own cars. Now it’s going from 2 coaches to 3. How much ventilation is there on a coach? Players and clubs were told no canteens to be open, now clubs told close them and only match day can be used. 2 examples of where clubs and the league were not taking it seriously. Reason they are taking it seriously now is Government are questioning them. Clubs now told any breaches by players fine then and league will also fine clubs. You don’t fine players we will do it instead.
  25. Volunteer at a step 9 club Only 6 players at a time in changing room Everyone and subs must wear masks on the bench Players not to share cars home or away. No sharing of water bottles, bring your own for can’t guaranteee club ones would be clean enough. 4 rules the FA said clubs lower down had to follow, so why have Elite clubs been allowed to follow there own rules and now get told follow new tighter rules for current ones aren’t working.
