Hold on this can't be true.

Surely they can't be blaming the officials... Didn't one of them once try to claim that referees that were being fast tracked up the leagues were always given games at their 'stadium' to see how they cope with 'large crowds and a hostile atmosphere'. Clearly all the hotshot referees were busy this weekend.

Or maybe he was right. Maybe they did get a referee on the up but unfortunately he crumbled under the weight of pressure offered by the massive 8k attendance. Guess that's his career over.

  2. It happens fairly often now that clubs buy players at the value of the release clause, and was happening long before we bought MT.

The release clause is confidential so long as the player wants it remain confidential. Once MT decided he was leaving the agent was free to disclose said information to any interested clubs.

The fact they reported us to the FA just screams bitterness and I can never decide which is more funny between that incident and when they reported Wycombe after they were relegated out the football league.

    Pathetic.

I'm a bit confused. I thought the transfer window didn't open until July. That might be wrong, but if not, how can you pay a transfer fee for somebody to transfer clubs if the window is not open? I could be being very stupid.

I know @Woodsy enjoys answering this question

  4. Ah, we just need some hashtags on the shirt, y'know like the other lot have! Classy!

Joking aside, I really like the current badge and I'm always quite surprised it divides opinions so much, it gets a lot of compliments from other supporters.

Off they go again. It must be amazing being a Rovers fan, they seem to get complimented by other sets of fans wherever they go!

Can now add 'great badge' to the list of compliments from other fans: the best away support, amazing fans, how much more likeable they are than city etc.

  5. I can't help but think this hashtag they're using is a joke. Maybe it's because they've just ripped off a scene from the first episode of 'I'm Alan Partridge' (1997):

Alan: I love that phrase you used, it was very clever - Revolution not evolution.

Tony Hayers: No, it was the opposite: evolution not revolution.

    Alan: Well whatever.

I hate to burst any bubbles because it does look like something that a rovers fan would make...

However that's just auto generated advertising, its all done by facebook selling your details to companies who put something from your search history or interests onto a tshirt. The don't actually make that tshirt in the same way you could buy it from a store but they can custom print you one. It would probably say 'the robins fan' on the Bristol City version because its all data ripped from the internet and not designed by an actual person.

You see them all the time, especially the ones that rip your occupation right out of your facebook profile and put it on a tshirt.

So what you really mean to say is - Iron Man is a secret Rovers fan?

No news is good news sometimes

Agreed, like when the docs say "we'll only contact you if you DO have chlamydia".

However in this case, where you are looking for positive news that progress is being made, no news is most definitely not good news.

Forbes 2016 Billionaire list comes out.....

My favourite part of the thread is how those of them who once believed the hype are now trying to shame the OP for starting the thread!

It seems it no longer matters what money he has... It's about what he is prepared to do for the club.

In order to remain positive they now believe that this middle aged Jordanian Chelsea fan who was born into a wealthy family is going to become the greatest president in football club history!

How on earth do they all just 'assume' their own is wealthier?

I thought the EP were alone in their unique reporting methods of pure guessing, but apparently not.

I like that its only been a couple of weeks and already some of their fans are embarrassed by how most of the fanbase have reacted to the news. They're even coming around to the realisation that they might not ACTUALLY be the most popular club in the whole of the UK and could even be going down the path of dislike!
