Don't dislike us because of one individual. I never asked Mark Ashton to come on board with us, all right he's now part of a (mostly) successful club side and fans at ITFC have more or less now welcomed or accepted his position but i've rather talk or discuss what occurs on the pitch.
Today was disappointing, don't like noon kick-offs particularly in such pivotal games of this nature but they were value for the win. Leeds beat us and scored 4 at Portman Road earlier in the season, they've beaten us again at their own ground and scored another 4 times. That's a promotion team in every sense of the word but we can only concentrate on our own objectives and try to keep in with the automatic promotion places.
we have Leicester coming up soon and another performance and result like today just won't be acceptable. Very few teams stop us from scoring over an entire game of 90 minutes but we hardly registered a shot on goal up there today. Concede too many goals although that's compensated by an attack and forward options that many others in the league simply can't match. Still in a very good position to challenge though. So many other teams would jump at the chance to be where we are and the opportunity that goes with it.
off topic, you had one of the best shirt designs ever in 84-86ish....

Not received my tickets. Are we able to collect from Watford ticket office?

Christmas.
Not Christmas itself; but the people that have allowed the supermarkets and media to brainwash them into believing Christmas starts on Dec 1 & finishes on Dec 26 (Boxing Day), which is when Easter starts !
Erm, no.
Christmas starts on Dec 25 and finishes on Jan 5.
Starts on 2nd week in November in BS10!

I saw the Aussie Pink Floyd many moons ago at The Colston Hall and they were spot on....
But I was blown away in a near empty Alma Vale Tavern maybe 15 years ago by an act called the "Millimeters" who
are/were a tribute act to The Meters. They were a seriously talented bunch and their act musically was pure class.

The way the depleted squad has been playing for Nige recently says that's not true.
There will be 'former players' who hold a grudge against him, particularly some of those whose poor attitude, displayed before and after his arrival, meant he had to move them on.
No surprise if one of these was 'sick to death of NP' and wants to bad mouth him now but if he fell out with NP the fault almost certainly lay at his door.
I doubt any of the current players were sick to death of him, just the opposite, not only because of the way they clearly played for him but shown by their messages when he left. My impression is he was extremely well liked and respected by the current squad.
As for the injuries & Rennie, the former player wouldn't know and just seems determined, as with Nige, to put him in the worst possible light.
I don't disagree with any of that. Just passing on what was said. The former player did not play under Nige.

I think it was @The Journalist who made a post a few weeks back about this always (potentially) being the plan but there was now cold feet as Nige wanted to carry on. It’s the closest I can see to a reasonable explanation - but again, the fact the club haven’t given tat reasonable explanation and instead given the car crash they have is a large reason for the toxicity currently - and ironically, that in turn gives Manning less opportunity to succeed here.
Now I'm not claiming in any way to be ITK. But I was told by a former player (who was informed) that the club (especially the players) were sick to death of Nigel and one of the main reasons we have such a terrible injury list was down to the constant beasting they were getting from Rennie. Whether this is true or not, I do not know. The Lansdown's want out asap apparently, but no one wants "Bristol Sport" for a variety of reasons. (But that's not such a shock). One thing I do know, the statement the club have put out about having a top 10 budget and a good enough squad, they've invited a serious amount of pressure on themselves. Best case scenario, we go up! Worse case, well you know the drill by now.

Really?
Job Description:
1) Deliver promotion with current squad
2) Squad wage budget maxed out
3) Owner
given upno longer putting his hands in his pockets for decent transfers4) Best players will be sold to keep club solvent
5) You will play in the style told to you by Brian Tinnion, a legend at Bristol City (but nowhere else)
6) Chairman is a basket case
7) Club is up for sale and comes with basketball and rugby!
I don't see that as a terribly attractive gig tbh, particularly when you see how Pearson got treated.

I heard from a former player (a year ago) that Tinnion has more power than Pearson. I laughed it off at the time. The comfy club, Bristol City yet again reaping what it sows.
