Through poor planning (friend’s 40th), I’m going to be in Central London later.
Any ideas where might be showing the game later rather than Champions League nonsense?

Seems like the right character you want in your squad. Good interview.
What a superb interview this is. You can the media training type answers, but really got the sense he’s here, he gets it, he’s committed and he knows his chance is coming.
Good one young man!

Rovers… what a bunch of pricks, eh?
Just trying to navigate SS PhallusWag back on course.
I preferred when this topic was “hot” because of tin pottery, not the above shit.

Yes, why not show your future bride and impress all of her family at the same time that instead of romantic Clevedon Court or Celtic Manor you lavishly spent £20 on this dump. Walking through the romantic canvas flaps to "Come on Eileen" performed by two duelling banjos before you performed the quaint ritual of jumping the broomstick.
Classy real classy
"Walking through the romantic canvas flaps" reminds me of my wedding day....

Should probably also mention the longevity of this post is testament to each and every one of the amazing gifts they have given since they have been a league club. What a FOUR years of league football it has been.

I'm not sure it's that either. When I looked the other week and posted (#52047) I think you may have confused US with Jordanian dollars. I think he's actually worth about half that you've calculated. Wouldn't that be a shame....?
I had market cap at JOD 180M which based on 1 Jordanian Dinar = 1.41 Dollars came to the figure above. Haven't looked at that post yet as I'm currently walking a hyperactive pug!

But even that's not what the family is worth, they have shares in banks and businesses that are valued at that, they don't own the whole of them.
I'm not even sure it's that!
From what I can tell in open source - AJIB has a current market cap of about $225M. The family have a holding of about 28% which gives you a value of about $71M. The family also have a 28% holding in a tourism based company with a market cap of $142M which works out at about $40M - so a family wealth of $110M odd.
Of note, WAQ has about 4% in each company worth about $16M. Obviously not too shabby but hardly large in football stake.
I would assume the family have lots of other holdings elsewhere but I doubt they add up to $300M!!

Another issue the sags owners have to contend with is currency fluctuations. I presume the money that has been underwritten by the family is paid through Dibley sports from Jordan therefore it has to be converted from Dinar to Sterling in order to then go on and pay the bills. Every big movement in value can add or subtract thousands of pounds.
To be fair, I would assume (hope for their sake!) the family have a decent Private Bank handling their money. If so they should have assets in several different currencies for this exact reason, especially as they have a GBP liability losing money hand over fist!

Good shout! Would be interesting to see!!!
For what it's worth, I've worked in private banking for several years now - every single one who has owned a football club is a multi billionaire. The reason; football clubs are a money pit.

More sh!te from the Post. Where was this survey carried out? Albert Road!
It is no surprise that Bristol has a lot to offer in the looks department, so we had a hard time narrowing it down to just 50 people.
But here they are, the lucky ones who made the cut - from 50 right down to number one - it is Bristol's official sexy list.
50. Darrell Clarke
Darrell Clarke
The Bristol Rovers boss is not outshined by his players on the pitch. The former professional footballer played for a number of teams, including Mansfield Town FC, Hartlepool United FC and Salisbury Town FC, before entering the dugout.https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/bristol-sexy-list-2018-50-1160748
Every time I look at his face I see POB.

Flint had to score the ******* winner just as I was feeding my boy (edit - with a bottle! These saggy monsters are no good for anyone)
Had to hold pose and scream at my wife to come in to the front room and take him so I could go (very delayed) apeshit.
About 2 minutes from goal to celebration. Hands down my weirdest City goal
