Southern Englands second largest city...
It's very unlike a City fan to misquote or twist the words of anything Rovers related isn't it?
In all seriousness though, the comment below would raise some (more?) serious red flags.
“If I don’t have Jordanian players in the future playing in Bristol, it means I’m a failure,”

Aside from the glaring error of Bristol being the largest city outside of London, there's a lot of words but not much substance in that report.
Surprised that a league club didn't have provision for catering for the players........then again,..

No, we generally leave you to twist facts all by yourself.

I've been in central London all day. Seen one lonely lost gashead.
I envy you.
One of them, let's call him Mr Moron, asked me if I was a Chelsea fan. I told him (with no sense of being an arse) that I'm actually a city fan just waiting it out to go home.
Cue Mr Moron and his troupe of cretins with "shithead, shithead". I told them this was the most wimsical of responses and it's a shame that Edinburgh fringe is over as the clearly have a routine to top them all.
Mr Moron then comes back with "bet yer prowed of bein' a shit head en all"
"Errrrr, yes. The Championship is great"
*walk away to glazed, confused looks*

I'm currently at Earl's Court trying to avoid the tube home until it clears from these cretins.
These people really are a special kind of moron.

Am I the only here who rather admires fans who opt for the smaller club in a two-club city?

The game plan was ugly but it paid off .. Frustrating for any nuetral fan .. and not a good watch but for us it was great ..
For us mere plebs with no understanding of the great and wonderful Rovers, what was this gameplan? Dull Cardiff into submission? Did they go toe to toe and lose due to lack of experience?

Rovers' visits to Plymouth always left their mark on me as an 11 year old boywhen they ran out wearing this striking but simple blue & white kit.

Tinpot isn't a great way of describing the 15ers. After all tin is actually worth something.

Not sure you get what irony is, do you?

Clearly.
What, in the name of God, do you think you are contributing to this forum? Unlike your cyber hovel, reasonable posters who support rovers are welcome and have shown themselves to be quite self deprecating and all round good posters. You, on the other hand, have come on to the City forum just be post snide, one word/sentence replies (once you got over the shame of being a sag).
Do us all a favour and get yourself banned.

Said Super, in his 147th post of the thread.
You have 319 posts in a thread about Bristol Rovers. Can you not? You probably went to Wembley then right? Good view of the penalty?
I would love to have a conversation with you Peter, but you don't half talk some shit for someone with a combined 659 posts, and counting, about us. What you can do though, is show me a picture of a Rovers top in the Walsall end at Wembley when you were there. Or do they not exist?
Ah, the supreme irony of a 15er quite literally obsessing about post numbers, post percentages, top posters on a thread, photos of people at Wembley and attacking a BRISTOL CITY fan on a BRISTOL CITY FORUM.
Amazing.
promotions from tin pot leagues and an owner with a minority holding in a small middle eastern bank might buy you a £15k watch... But it cannot buy the joy you've given me.
p.s. I'm guessing under 20 posts for me. If you could confirm that would be great

Fair enough if that's the case, every club has its morons and I won't deny that for a second. Was just first time seeing that, and given who each team were playing and where, it looked more like some "gas logic"
Would 'gas logic' extend to using a video of some idiots kicking off to imply city fans are scum and rovers would never do such a thing?

I'm just at Wembley watching Oxford v Barnsley. You know, Oxford, that team above Bristol Rovers who are level on points with Accrington Stanley.
How the hell have the the best and richest team ever not win their awful league at a canter? Truly dire. You, Bristol Rovers, are a shambles. Go away

Yes. Yes it will. Quantum mechanics tells us that if you bounce a ball against a wall for infinity, at one point it will travel through the wall without bouncing back.
This is how I feel about Rovers; you're a concept. Something that I can only theorise about without, In reality, ever experiencing.
