It’s what they do on here, take something and make it fit their agenda one way or another. Sad people.

And you have completely missed the point...

I've sat through plenty of dross throughout the decades BUT, that provoked an appropriate response

Today provoked nothing, I have never experienced Ashton Gate in total silence. It was truly soporific. The only level of excitement was when we won a corner late on which was embarrassing but, it was all we had to shout about

My point is about the football, not City specifically today. This style of play will be the death of football from a live spectator perspective

Yes, but we are playing "front foot football"....clearly this means across the back repeatedly with no forward movement.

Simply undone by a patient team who knew that, on the balance of probability, an opportunity would arise.....and it did....on 89mins.....they were playing for a draw came away with much more.....we were playing for a win (not sure I actually believe that now I've written it) and come away with nothing.

I thought that until 60 mins, but then it became clear that they fancied their chances.

To be fair, they missed 3 very decent chances before finally putting one away

What point are you even trying to make here?

That you have probably only experienced the kind of football where it is compulsory to pass the ball 300 times before you cross the halfway line I e. not football from the 70's to the turn if the century

I could be totally wrong, but if I am, you have bought what will be the slow death of what makes people watch football, i.e. passion and excitement, hook line and sinker

I really wish people would stop pretending that Man City roll the ball along the back at walking pace.

Thats just us, that’s what we do.

I dare say we wouldn't either if we had players worth £30-100m each.

But the point is that we don't, yet everyone thinks it's trendy to play that way

Kudos to people like Bielsa and the Ipswich manager who are not fooled by this fraud and refuse to play dreary football

No issues with 3,000+ WBA Fans, yes they make a noise but if 18,000 City fans cant make more noise than 3,000 WBA fans then its our issue IMO.

This is spot on, play good football and our supporters will be loud (as evidenced at times last season) and equally, if we are battering the opposition, theirs will be quiet ..

The problem is with the football bit. We were producing garbage prior to Christmas last year and then it suddenly turned, and for a couple of months at least, we did well at home and the crowd responded

AG is slated as being quiet but, with a few notable exceptions, we haven't really produced anything exciting since Cotts was in charge.

Improve the football, get some players with flair and drive going (we have some) and things will quickly change...

Continue to try and replicate Pepe ball without Debruyne and co and minus forward passes, and it will bore the paying public rigid and then, like now, there will be no atmosphere

I know it’s a bit crap, but I didn’t hear any “player songs” yesterday, in fact I barely heard any songs at all.

Are you at all surprised given the drab nature of the performance rolled out yesterday...???

The "moment" that was referred to is something like Sammy Szmodic missing a pen against Rotherham last week and his team then going 2-0 down. You could see that he was not having it that they would lose as a result of his miss

He made it his personal mission and he single handedly took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored 2 cracking goals and earned his team a point

Do we have players who can, or who are brave enough to do this. Yes, we have Szomodic, Antoine and Scotty. Oh wait....

We lack players like this yet, we let them all  go..? Too much personality perhaps . ??

This is the reason they have gone, because other clubs see the drive in them. Where is this in our current squad, who is going to step up...?

  7. The atmosphere is just fine, when the football is...

Trouble is, most teams are trying to replicate "Guardiola ball" which, when you don't have a team full of superstars is frankly the dullest, most boring thing ever to watch. We don't need 400 passes before we cross the halfway line.

Atmosphere relies to a degree, on EXCITING FOOTBALL, through balls, wingers taking people on, crosses, things that get fans out of their seats

Very little of this happens when you're probing for space by passing the opposition to death and boring fans stupid then, when there is a chink in the armour, we have no-one to play the ball...!!!

No wonder there's no atmosphere, Pepe ball really should be banned before it kills the game

  8. FFS,I don't even want to talk about the likelihood of us finishing bottom 3, the ambition is to finish at least top 10 if not better.

The squad we have now should be capable of that but the really worrying thing is that they look like they've had the life sucked out if them.

Only Sykes and Sam wanted to take players on today, it didn't work too well for Sam cos the fullback worked out he tried to cut back every time but at least he tried. Ironically, our best chance of the game came from the time he didn't cut it back

Anis looks a pale shadow of the player we got excited about, he was going to be our maverick but its like he's  been shackled

Still, I guess we shouldn't have expected anything else, our home record against Birmingham in the last 25 years is nothing short of absymal. 13 league games which we have won 2 of with 1 draw and 10 defeats

Basically, it's 3 points, gift wrapped for them every time

  9. Yes, there were a few errors, but not in dangerous areas like usual so, marginally better(?)...

Someone should have given Harry Cornick a shout at the end of the 1st half. The ball was going harmlessly behind for a goal kick do the corner shouldn't have happened and led to their opening goal

Teams sit in and know exactly what we're going to do and just pick us off, we have no clue how to break them down

  10. Literally, as well as figuratively...

I've been a Nige supporter throughout the whole rebuild process but, this is your team now Nige. The clear out is pretty much done and we've got a number of decent, exciting players now

We all bought season tickets because we were excited about the prospect but the statistic of ZERO shots on target in a home match (plus Preston wasn't much better) is a complete and total embarrassment

We buzzed around a bit but we didn't trouble Birmingham at all today, they swatted us away like a irritating fly and were completely in their comfort zone, with the singular exception of Nakhi's chance

I don't know if it's your instruction but not one player took responsibility for taking the attack to the opposition. Instead, we just pass, pass, pass, pass, with little to no purpose. They had time to dig trenches whilst we prepared our laboured attack

Let's get real, Man City, Bayern, Real Madrid and Brighton can pass their way through teams, WE DO NOT HAVE THAT ABILITY yet, we seem to think that we do.

In reality, we pass it around with no real purpose for a bit and then end up banging a long ball over the top. If we're going to do this, then at least have players chasing but only a couple do

This is really not good enough Nige, you have to take the handbrake off and let players attack the opposition otherwise very soon, the football is going to start being compared to the Lee Johnson sideways and backwards stuff as he came to the end and when those comparisons start, it's not long before the writing is on the wall

This team is capable of playing attacking football at home so, let's see it instead of the turgid, pass for the sake of it with no real clue stuff that  we've been served up so far ..

    Thanks for listening....

    RE #1

So because the players are poor at their jobs, the media team should stop doing theirs?

    Slow clap.

It's all how great everything is in training, who's pranked who and similar bollocks and yes, until the performances show that we have a team who are putting their bodies on the line for this club, WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE IT...!!!

It's media because we need to put content out, not because it's worth watching

  12. 1), to the social media team

Stop posting all the "behind the scenes" crap. This is just media by numbers and someone's misguided and mistaken idea of the content that they should be putting out and think we want to see. Until we have something that resembles a football team playing with pride and passion that is worth reporting on, don't bother....

2). to the players (not including our recent debutants)

Take a good look in the mirror, you are PROFESSIONAL footballers playing in the 5th most watched division in the world (attendance wise). You are paid to play the game at this level because of all the years of hard work and effort that you put in to get to where you are today so, where is your professional pride. You know how to play football, how to be organised, you've done it all of your junior and adult lives, so why is it that right now, I've seen Sunday morning pub teams who have been out on the lash all day Saturday who look more organised.

Who's in charge on the pitch, why is it that when we concede a goal, everyone just looks at each other like we don't know what we are doing. THIS IS YOUR JOB, it's not meant to be an easy life/money, if you don't want to be here, we don't want you either so have some balls and rip up you contract and walk away "by mutual consent"

    3). to the owners

It's pretty clear that big Nige is biting his tongue big time every time he does an interview. He can't say what he really thinks although I suspect that he's made it clear to some behind the scenes. This is not hos fault, his brief is obviously to just try and survive this season until we can clear the desks to bring in a bunch of hungry and ambitious players who want to achieve things in their career to mold into a unit so we can move on

In the meantime, you might want to reflect on how leaving the club in the hands of a CEO whose brief was to identify and bring in random players with the sole purpose of being sold on at a profit with no consideration of what the club needed, has left us with a bunch of mostly disinterested individuals resulting in the current disfunctional displays on the pitch

IT IS NO COINCIDENCE that the departure of the last manager who was able identify the players needed to forge a TEAM and the arrival of Ashton has left us in this position. You have now finally realised that you need a football man in charge at the top but we have stood still (or even gone backwards) for the best part of a decade with this flawed model when so many of our contemporaries have passed us by. Brentford being a recent example and today's opponents have been all the way to the basement and back and are now better than us again, to name but a few

WE absolutely, cannot, MUST NOT be relegated this year. It would just set us back another 2 or 3 years whilst more, less wealthy, but better run teams continue to pass us by. You need to get the cheque book out in January and give Nige what he needs or it will be back to sub 10,000 attendances in league one which will be embarrassing in our shiny new stadium
